So far for a week before Christmas, this Gold Box is very underwhelming, but then I guess after the kick-assness that was Amazon's Black Friday, I can understand them not wanting to piss off folks still hurting from the massive cash dumps they made on the site then with just-as-hot deals now.

The deals have been fine since black friday. Just yesterday Amazon had PoP for $40. Amazon could put 90% of new games on sale and people would complain about how there are "no good deals" and "game x and y aren't on sale."

Uncharted is over a year old at this point, of course it's going to be cheaper. Yeah it's the regular edition, but it's amazing game. You won't regret it at $50, at least I didn't regret my purchase at $60. I have to disagree this year. Sure Microsoft had more exclusives but they weren't all that great. Fable II was short and glitchy, Banjoo nuts and bolts sucked nuts, Too Human was a failure, Viva Pinata 2 was an expansion pack, Gears 2 (didn't like the first one so meh), and I can't remember the other exclusives.

I Liked Resistance 2 for what I played, just too cheap to get it at 60 since I already got LBP (great game).

To each their own I guess.

just imho, i was in the private and public beta, and i got to see lots of the game save the campaign.... in all honestly, it felt like a huge downgrade from Resistance 1, and man, i was a HUGE fan of resistance 1. i still play it. R2 is really a lot different from the first, unfortunately, its not different in any good ways. i probably wouldnt pay more then 20-30 bucks for it....
