The ad is definitely for RB2 but it has pretty much been confirmed (edited: I guess the confirmations are iffy since no one has "proved" it) stores are receiving notices to post that they meant it to be RB1.

Getting RB2 will be VERY YMMV-- your best bet is to take the ad to another store to PM as soon as they open tomorrow. (possibly Best Buy has already sent out memos telling stores it's a price mistake and not to PM that ad under any circumstances)

(Edited since the confirmations/mentions are under dispute as to if they're real-- keep in mind there is a very real possibility of this all being a huge mistake, and go into it with a good attitude and don't ruin some poor cashier's day if you don't get it)

This deal still doesn't really make sense, but geez, great for those who need it! (I have been thinking I'd pick up a RB2 kit when they get cheap, to get the new drums + guitar, but right now is not the time to be spending $120ish after tax on myself, even if it is an amazing deal!)

Aye, the RB2 deal is confirmed true here in Newington, NH. Even the guy at the register couldn't believe it.

In case anyone's wondering if there's any left in the NH area, there was no one but me there to get RB2 when I arrived at opening (7am). They still had large stacks (I'd guess 15 of each) of both PS3 and XBox 360 by the time I walked out the door. The only other people there were buying Wiis.

I just picked up the Rock Band 2 Special Edition bundle for Xbox 360 at the TRU in Burbank. This is an incredible deal for $109 plus the $25 free gift card. Grand total of $119.06! As of 8am this store had about 8 of the Xbox 360 bundles on floor. I did not see any of the Special Edition bundles for the PlayStation 3. Not sure if they had sold out or just had not put them on floor. This is an incredible deal - don't pass it up.
