This game is pure awesome. I'm gonna give it as a gift (already have one). It's Ouendan but with Bratz faces. This forces you to mimic the movements and not just waggle. I haven't seen anyone just do wrist motions/waggle and pass a single song yet. Check out the Amazon user reviews and people who keep at it love it. Learning curve is huge but once you get over the hump, although still a challenge, it becomes much easier.

Despite not having Balance Board support, I'd say We Cheer is probably better than All Star Cheer Squad. And yes, I have played both cheerleading games. You gotta give everything a chance.

It's all on timing and what the gyro registers at the time the stars finish the track. It's brutally hard at first. Took me 2 hours before I passed my first song. I'd say I have way more fun with this than Samba and DDR. This and Wii Fit have kept my Wii from collecting dust.

Aloha - I don't post much, but thought I'd chime in.

I bought it last week when it was $30 and received it on Saturday. I have played it about 7 hours so far. My arms are sore - kind of like when you first get wii sports and you play tennis and bowling for 8 hours, but it's a lot of fun. I know I will wake up one night on a weekend to find my husband playing it. The first song I did was the hardest one of the first four and it took me about 8 tries to pass. The moves themselves aren't really hard once you've gone through the song first and are familiar with them for your second chance, but I had to work on staying on beat because the more I'd try, the more tired I'd get and I'd get sloppy. While the graphics aren't fancy, it is complete with bitchy cheerleader girls and whiney jocks.

The only thing I wish it had is a practice mode kind of like GH where you can learn all of the moves to a particular song at a slower pace so when you do it for points, you totally rock it.
