I hope this helps fellow CAG''ers...I saw a Virgin Mega Store ad in AmNY. Virgin megastore has Rockband 1 special edition for 79.99 and Rockband 2 game for 39.99. This is a good deal for those who want extra instruments or those who miss out on the Toys R us deal.

This isn't bad. But I hear the Rockband 2 instruments are superior. I'm going to cross my fingers that TRU gets more stock...

If you're going to walk through Times Square with a Rock Band set, it may as well be Rock Band 2 from the Toys R Us. They had plenty there yesterday night. Plus, you have to walk through less of Times Square to get to the subway. Of course, this is a very good deal if for some reason you're looking for RB1.
