Guys, I think it's simple as far as knowing if they sent you a litho or not. If they sent you a litho and another item when you go to track it by UPS it wll say 2 items were sent. At least that was the case for me (2 LS + Steinman Litho)

They aren't plastic.. I like mine :-) have them next to my big daddy... and picked up both lithographs. Curious why you guys are calling them plastic? They are ceramic. I think they look fine, you guys are pretty picky if you expect much more from a $10 item (they have a picture of the item for fyi). It is what it said it is, nothing more. If you have a big daddy you should pick it up. They look damn good together. For $68 I spent I am very happy with the lithographs and the two little sisters. If you are happy with your big daddy so be it, but they look so much better with the little sisters...and the price will jump for these "crappy figures" and you will regret not shelling out a little bit of money. That being said there store really sucks, don't think they where prepared to handle this many orders. I know of 4 people who's little sister orders were canceled for no reason. I wonder if they even have anymore. The lithographs they took much more orders than they could fill before stopping ordering.

Ok, good to hear. I managed to get the Bioshock LE from goozex but haven't taken the Big Daddy out of packaging yet. Once i move and have my 'game room' - i'll be setting them up together :)

nice pic... I have no clue how you could mistake these for plastic, the texture is ceramic which feels nothing like plastic. Any CAGs on the fence should buy now and ask later. These are going to be nice collector pieces. Buy 2 sell one later to cover the cost.

Yeah, seems to me some people ordere a little late or ordered when the system mistakenly showed inventory and when their orderes were rightfully cancelled (be wrong to charge you for stuff they can't send you) they got upset. I get that it sucks but at the same time they didn't take your money (if they did then yes be upset) and these things were going to be in limited quantities anyway.

I ordered early and got my items within 1 day of shipping (took a few days cuz I asked them to pack it extra carefully, which they did). I'm pretty satisfied with the experience, save the slow email correspondence but it's not a site that handles a lot of sales so it's somewhat accepted (not excusable tho). Peps need to calm down and if they missed the deal, chill with some nog.

The pick online looked like the needle was a little odd from what I remember them having in the game.

Should still be in stock...but some orders are being canceled on the figure. No idea if it is sold out..but you can still order the figure. The lithographs sold out really quick ( and the took more orders than the could fill before they took it down). It remains unclear if the figures are still available.

I did not get a shipping notice, but got my 3 figurines delivered Tuesday night about 8:00 PM. Haven't even opened them yet.

My girlfriend got me one for X-mas and then I ordered one to keep in the box for collectors sake. I can't wait to see one next to my Big Daddy figure though, so cool.

The figures are small yeah, if you go to any anime/game conventions and see people with those figure boxes that are like $5 a piece?
The box is that size.

But this is actually heavy. I've got a Vamp (MGS2) figure that I got a while ago that's bigger yet lighter. As far as material goes, it's really smooth, the crevices and coloring are done very well, and if you look closely you can see a bit of shaded red on the dress - a nice touch. The bottom is very nice, no plastic there at all, and everything from the fingers to the rag for a dress is detailed very nicely.

Short version, the figure's great and anybody who expected something bigger or jaw droppingly wonderful set the bar way too high or just plain doesn't know figures that well. For something what, 3-4 inches this is surprisingly *heavy* and built well. No doubt, well worth the 10 bucks I shelled out (28 rather, bought 2 + shipping, so 14 apiece).

I got mine on the 24th... to be honest, i'm not that impressed. The face on it looks really ugly & distorted and it has an awful paint job. I guess i'd be happier if it was bigger because there would be more detail. Oh well....

And as for the size of the figurine, it was specifically stated that the Little Sister was intended to be shown in relative size to the Big Daddy. They're supposed to be proportioned.

I really appreciate the high-quality pic, Megalith. I was sitting on the fence with this as I have the collector's/limited edition Bioshock pack for the 360 that came with the nice looking Bouncer. Having literally just finished playing Bioshock tonight (we started about 2.5 weeks ago), despite owning the game for over(?) a year now, I honestly can't agree that this figure looks good. Your photos are excellent and show off the details nicely, but with a good nine hour marathon of Bioshock to the finish still very fresh in my mind, this figure does not look like even a half-hearted representation of the original work.

It's not that I'm disappointed (figure is $10), but I can't say I'm at all impressed.

Yes, the Bouncers are the Big Daddy's with the drill hand. Here are renders pulled straight from the game (notice image title). They are also called Bouncers in-game via achievements (Research Bouncer) and looting menus.:

The figurine packaged with the collector's/limited edition of the game is a fairly good representation of the Bouncer. Colors are a bit off and a few bits and pieces are over or under-sized, but generally, it's a nice figure. I honestly can't say the same about the Little Sisters...

I posted this on my blog (since only about 5 friends total ever read it -- no, I won't link-whore it) and thought I'd post here as well since it was pertinent to this thread:The internet is full of bad customer service sob-stories. I thought I'd spread a little holiday cheer by telling a tale of customer service beyond the call of duty.

A week or so ago I saw a thread over at Cheap Ass Gamer noting that you could order a Little Sister figurine that was scaled to match the Bioshock Collector's Edition Big Daddy figurine, which I have proudly displayed with my game collection.

I decided to bite ($17 shipped, bit high but kinda cool so I figured what the hey) and my figurine came in on the 23rd. At least most of it did, it seems during shipment her pony tail was broken off.

So on the 24th I sent an email to the Take 2 Store asking what kinda of options I had for a replacement, not expecting to even get an email reply until after this week (I'm on vacation, I begrudge no one taking off as well).

Well low and behold guess what was sitting on my front porch when we got back from E'town today (the 26th)? A replacement Little Sister (pony tail and all)! Not only was my email read (on Christmas Eve) but they shipped me out a replacement on top of that, which showed up the day after a major holiday.

So kudos to Take 2!

Anywho, thought I'd share, especially as a I was a bit put off by the shipping charges initially -- but it seems the company works hard to keep its customer's happy.

UPS delivered my Little Sister figurine today, as they tried to deliver it when I was out of the office. Both the feet are broken down at the ankle. I emailed them, and we'll see what happens. The post above about the quick replacement gives some hope about a quick resolution.

I'm in the same boat as you. I don't really think it looks all that good. The picture is great quality but the fiture is not. The needle doesn't even look like the one used in the game. Atleast least to me it does not. I'm starting to think it is better that i did not get this. To bad sidshow collectables does not have bioshock items. They would cost more but be a better quality.

No, there was absolutely NO tracking number in my shipping confirmation e-mail. Also when I click the status link in my email it takes me to a screen that shows all the details of my order with the exception of the "Tracking" field which is blank.

Similar situation happened to me,

As of Monday tracking info had never been updated but I'd been charged. Earlier this week, I called and canceled my order. I'm happier without them since I can use the money for something else. The more I looked at the figures the less pleased I was. May prove to be a mistake in the future but I'll take the chance.
