This information just poured cold water on Best Buy's boxing deals.

Will we still see a $39.99 price, considering the poor exchange rate? $39.99USD=$48.76CAD

Also what happens when you release a RTS only on consoles with a PC version following much later in the case of Endwar since there is no market for them outside of the PC. If I get the game then I am waiting on the PC version but even then it doesn't look that great to me. And in the case of POP my PC version at $29.99 was still cheaper so a better deal. Surprised they are dropping that one so soon though.

Seems like we already had the price drop for some time given our dollar.

Yesterday, the price drop had not yet occured for these three games at the EB I was at yesterday. I did rent PoP and it's a good game but I just don't like the backtracking and the fact that you can't die. The other two games didn't interest me.
If the price drops here, I would wager that they would go for $44.99. Some place might still price them at $39.99, though.

Hmm if these deals hit Canada do you think they would be the same for all stores?

just traded in Far Cry 2 for the PS3 at EB, it`s still worth $35 credit.
If anyone`s thinking of getting rid of it, now`s the time.
