Everyone says Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is an incredible game, so I'm thinking about picking it up. (Though I'd really also like to play Fable 2 and Fallout 3 first...) Does anyone know of a good deal on a brand new copy of Knights of the Old republic? It seems like a lot of places are sold out of it, or they are STILL charging about $50 for it! This game must be good if it hasn't depreciated! haha. :applause:

Thanks for you help!

Get it used off Ebay, Goozex, Gamestop, or CAG Trading.
Your not going to find it NEW in stores anymore.
And if you somehow do it will be the original MSRP, it's not about the quality of the game it's just how it is.
No point in getting a new copy when a used mint one is more than sufficient.
A used copy will only set you back $10 or less.
NEW copies of pass gen games are only for collectors or anal people.

I love Fallout 3. I've been a fan of the series since Wasteland. That said, if you are a SW fan, play KOTOR now. Then play KOTOR 2. Then worry about the current gen stuff. Seriously. Fable 2 isn't a bad game, but Fallout 3 and KOTOR are masterpieces.

Well normally I'd say "ebay my good man." But I just checked ebay and I'll be damned if the few sealed copys
that people had up for bid weren't around $50 (give or take including shipping).

Since you don't want to pay that much you probably are going to have to resort to a good used copy.

It is an excellent game though and I highly recommend it. Just be glad it isn't really rare like Intelligent Qube.
Good luck finding even a used copy of that for under $50.

Yeah, I suppose a good used copy will work just fine. :) It's obvious that the game is awesome since it receives unanimous praise across the board. haha. I'll definitely check out GS and Ebay. If I could score it used for $10 or so I'd be pumped.

I'll probably pick KOTOR up first that way by the time I'm ready to play Fable and Fallout I can find a better deal. ;)

Thanks guys. As always you've been a great help.

I played through KOTOR 2 1.9 times (the 2nd time I somehow stumbled upon a glitch where I was effectively stuck, accidentally saved at that point, and was too stupid to save in different slots throughout the game). Very very fun stuff. If you want to buy it off me send me a PM.
