Probably bootlegs.

Yep. There are 3 things that give it away.
1) The really low price for so many episodes.
2) Region Free
3) Chinese Subtitles
If it has these things odds are very, very, very, hight that they are bootlegs.

figured. oh well, im still consideing the ranma ones because thats REALLY cheap. but id rather not pay $200+ for lupin bootlegs

All three are bootlegs, with the Lupin ones looking like the good quality ones. also keep in mind these are not english dubbed (which can be a bad or good thing)

i dont mind dubbed or subbed is all the same to me, i like having an option, but i prefer subbed since it keeps the voice's in context.

And also keep in mind that unless a similar set has come out in America, and if it had then they would probably have English tracks, that the subtitles are bound to have bad translations.

I bought some bootleg anime on ebay (without knowing, of course) and the subtitles are usualy done by someone who isn't very good at English.

ive bought some box sets off ebay a few times, 1 time i got a real one, the other two i got were bootlegs, the video quality is usually good, but the subtitles are written by some jerk in hong kong so they suck, as long as you can get over bad grammer you should save the money and get em
