...and I've been doing homework for the past 4 hours. How is it that everyone else can just go out and do whatever the hell they please? Are they just not taking classes? I don't get it. I really don't. Do any of you other college CAGs get this much homework regularly, or am I a special case?

It takes awhile to adjust to, but pretty soon you realize you really don't have to read 95% of what is assigned. Just wait for an essay to be assigned, pick a topic and just read the stuff that pretains to that.

I never did homework on Friday's, maybe a little on Saturday, but mostly I did stuff on Sunday. Of course I was a bit of a slacker, but maintained a B average.

Same here, I take the rest of Friday off and relax, then I get to work on Saturday.

Naw my major pounds me with projects and homework. Don't worry, youre not the only one doing an ishload of work. Put in the work now so you won't have to the rest of your life.

There's some truth to this, but you have to take into consideration that most of the people partying probably have homework to do...it's just that they're not doing it. People's priorities tend to blur while in college (especially for first year students). You're doing the right thing by actually getting you're work done (although you eventually get the hang of what you can skip without hurting yourself).

Do what I did. Spend time in the library between classes during the day so your nights are free.

Sure - sometimes you just wanna chill between classes - but man, it's a great feeling to party w/o no worries and the knowledge that you can still rock the next test.

add "get laid" and that's what I do... course I haven't touched any weed in a year this November, and I'm damn proud of that. Come to think of it I go to class a bit more often than not these days too, but this semester most of my classes are fun and all a part of my business major so they're fairly easy.
