Any suggestions? And what's the big deal about the Microsoft brand one? Just seems like an expensive POS to me, but a lot of people have told me to get it >_<.

Any HDMI cable works fine, buy it on eBay for like $6, same as any other one in terms of PQ/AQ....don't buy into the hype of expensive cables.....

Monoprice cables are well made and inexpensive.

Another vote for Monoprice. Any idiot who pays the premium at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. needs their head examined, removed from their ass, or both.
If you don't want to do mail order, go to Big Lots, around 10 bucks for a basic cable.

Yup, monoprice is the way to go. I believe the only thing special about the official MS kit is the optical cable hookup that comes with it. I think it's really the only way to go if you are planning on routing optical audio from the Xbox directly to the HT receiver. There are other crude methods though for that as well.

Anyone who has their head examined without removing it from their anus deserves to pay $100 for $10 HDMI cables, I'm just sayin'.
"Well, this seems to be your problem right here, Mr. BB Angel-Customer, your head is shoved up your rear. That'll be $200, please tip the nurse on your way out."
