May be a bit late, but I didn't see another thread about this and thought it still had some use.
In This Issue
-LBP Executive Producer interview
-Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine import preview
-How PC Gaming Ended Up On Your Couch Feature
-Interview with Acquire's President on Tenchu 4
-Fable II Afterthoughts
-James Mielke's requests for the next Square Enix MMO
-Interview with Norihiko Hibino, MGS composer.
-Star Wars: The Old Republic Interview
-Almost Famous games of 2009 to look forward to (Heavy Rain, GTA: Chinatown Wars, MadWorld, Dark Void, Alpha Protocol, No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, Resistance: Retribution, Bayonetta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, Darksiders: Wrath of War, Wanted: Weapons of Fate, Sin & Punishment 2, Cave Story, and more)
-X-Men Origins: Wolverine Cover Story Feature
-Superhero Throwdown, four other comic games pushing things forward (Infamous, Prototype, Champions Online, DC Universe Online)
-Next Issue: An exclusive first look on a game that's both hot and cold.
Rumor Mill
-A true follow-up to Rez may be in the works by Q Entertainment. Don't expect a direct sequel since Sega supposedly owns the Rez name, but do expect everything to have the Rez flair. Don't get too excited yet since it's only in the theoretical stage right now.
-Square Enix is looking to bring Dragon Quest IX to the Wii, likely with interoperability with the DS version.
-While Clifford Bleszinski is rumored to be working on a horror game, he'll still be around for Gears of War 3. Expect a Fall 2010 release with additions and tweaks like a far more ambitious five-player co-op mode.
Q-Tips
-A larger copublisher will surface to help Tecmo with their PS3-exclusive shooter Quantum Theory.
-If you're not one of the five people that played Rifts on N-Gage, you'll get another shot when it makes a new appearance in 2010.
-Even though EA refuses that Steven Spielberg's LMNO project is still happening, it has been put on hold.
