So I walk into my local Blockbuster a few weeks ago...

hoping to take advantage of the 25% off used game sale.
I walk to the section where they are normally located and I don't see a single game. Knowing that Blockbuster switches up the location of things from time to time, I continue to walk around the store, but I still cant find any used games.

I approach the counter to see what the story is.

It turns out, a few days before, some guy just walked into the store, put the entire stack of used games under his arm and ran out of the store!

So, no sale for CheapyD :cry:

Cheapy you should try asking to see if they have any new copies of RE0, Sunshine, Star Fox or Mech Assault if your interested in any of those games. RE0 and Mech Assault go for 20$ there. I know they don't display the new games, those should be behind the counter.

I would do that, but I only have a PS2.
I don't think my Blockbuster sells new games, or if they do, they hide them behind the counter, because I've never seen any new games besides PSX games.

Hmm... I guess we can't use PSX to describe Playstation 1 any more once that PSX machine comes out.

Even when they do have used games, the prices aren't very competitive.
I often see used games that I know I could find new for the same price.
I rarely see any PS2 games priced below $14.95

With NetFlix and GameFly.....I haven't been in a Rental store in almost 2 years...

The best time IMO to goto Blockbuster is when a System is being phased out (ala Virtual Boy and Dreamcast, etc.) Its Clearance city baby!!

A year old topic is a strange thing to bring back. I can't believe PS2 games were that expensive then. At EB games you can get some $4 games. I just saw the title again. It says a few weeks ago. :lol:
