So it all started when I couldn't use the kit from my 120GB HDD. I could not transfer from a 60 to 120 because the CD was too old.

I faxed a form in, and the next day called to verify it was received. The rep told me it wasn't, so he set one up with me, tracking number and all.

This was around a week ago.

Today at work, I received my first kit. Awesome. I get home and there is a smaller package waiting. Crazily enough, it was another kit, just in a smaller package. (one was a box, the other a bubble mailer...weird.)

Anyways, I only need one kit to use once.

I guess from a CAG standpoint, I think I will do a contest for one, and then trade the other 2. I really don't want to do eBay.

So CAGs, comment on this if a contest is a good idea for one. If it was, watch the contest board over the next few days.

First best idea is to just send me one, second best idea is a contest.

I could really use one I recently got a 120gb one and connected my 20gb and the 120 to my computer an manually transfered all my saves over. I go to turn my 360 on today and ALL my saves are corrupted =(

same thing happened to me, both packages arrived at my house the same day by usps
one was a box and one was a bubble mailer, sent from 2 different locations

Best thing to do is put it up on ebay, they go for a ridiculous amount
Mines went for $55 final cost, so i actually made around $40 after fees and shipping
I listed it for BIN price in the AM and woke up the next morning and it was sold.

That's Microsoft saying, "Here transfer you files to your 120GB, then sell it for a free game on us."

Yea I think a contest is the best and fairest way to give them to people who need them. I think it's really kind of you to ship one to someone who is need of one. That's why I love this website!

Kudos and +1 to you bro.

You could always do a Conga for the people that need one.

Make a list of people that need it, mail it to them then when their done with it mail it to the next person on the list.

thats actually a much better idea than the contest...the only thing making me not want to do that is coming across the one person who doesn't pass it on, but sells it instead

If the contest is "If it's nearly impossible for you to find one, you get it!" then I win.

I guess since the 360 didn't sell well here in Japan, they just assume no one will ever need to transfer data.

Try to do a conga for sure with cags and do it where you need 15+ positive rep or something
