I've decided to strictly only play extended play from now on... I like it better considering the games right now mean nothing and I never get in the mob anyway.

did anyone else notice that the player they call at the end of last nights live show on th phone just so happened to be the one right out the get go?awfully fishy to me

um. he has played almost every game since it started, which is why he has the highest lifetime score of anyone (11 milion+!). he was bound to get chosen eventually, it's like he's got 11 million tickets in the raffle.

did anyone else play today? i loved how one game, the one asks for help on the first question, and what was stupid is that he chose "trust the brain" -- when everyone still has zero score! the game probably just picked someone at random and of course that person got the question wrong, so the one couldn't even last question.

They might need to rework the odds it takes to get into the Mob, as it would probably be better to increase the odds for people that play a live show and don't make it in so that eventually they'd have to get in. Then it could just restart and build up more slowly after each time you get into the mob so it can make it easier to get one chance to see what it's like and not necessarily have to make it easy to have repeat picks. The odds for The One could stay about the same since the odds of being picked are very small with at least 40,000 other people in the mix, as well.

It would also help if we could see our own odds that we can make it in to the Mob or as The One so we could know whether playing Extended Play makes a difference or not since it's hard enough to get in that it feels pointless to put much effort in besides showing up for the live shows.

Playing right now. 50 out of 100 people in the mob did not know who invented the telephone.

Hahahaha, I was playing on my brother's account when this question came up. They got people with saying Watson, some people probably immediately hit A. But they didn't really read the question if they did. Surprises me how much people miss.

I remember that question. Honestly it scares me at times when you see a question like that and a lot of people miss it.

I officially love this idea/experience/game!! Played my first live show and was surprised that 60,000 people were playing the damn beta. I really think Microsoft is onto something very big with the live shows. The extended shows are cool to jump in for a while, but it really feels like the live shows are events.

That may seem like a good first impression, as 60,000 is a good number. But last week, they had 110,000. I was very impressed with the game/concept my first few times playing as well. But once you reach your sweepstakes entry limit (500) and figure out that you're never getting picked for the mob, the novelty starts to wear off. The big drop in players would indicate a similar trend. I just hope that MS has some plans to revamp things to keep people interested.

It's disheartening to do reasonably well in the games (I have a 78% answer accuracy and 1.2 million lifetime points), but be overlooked so they can choose someone with a gamerscore of 120 to be "the one"...especially when that person ends up having to use a help on the first question, or pays no attention to the rules, and takes the "money" when no prizes are being given in the beta.

I think the reason why the novelty is wearing off is because there aren't any prizes or incentives to take the money, even though people are doing that.

I've played the game twice and that's enough until the real games begin. This extended beta is boring after one or two play throughs, especially when I already have a ton of real games to play.

Well, I could at least enjoy the competition among friends. But when it gets to the point that you're all helping each other and giving away answers because you just want ONE of you to get picked for the mob, it feels like you're fighting a losing battle, haha. The most entertaining thing now is seeing some of the stupid answers they come up with (ie. Faster & Furiouser).

I've quit for the same reasons. Usually end up with 120k+ scores, but since the questions start to repeat and getting in the mob seems near impossible, I'm beginning to wonder if once it launches it will be worth it at all. If it goes paid, I honestly don't see it being very popular.

A couple guys mentioned getting a pop-up notifying them of a prize being awarded, but since it's the beta, no real prizes are given out.

So are the ones that are shown (4:30, 5:00, 5:30ect.) are the only games you can play? Or is there a separate section so you can play whenever? Don't really get this whole thing...

I see some in this thread have said somthing about paying for this game. Is Microsoft going to charge to play this game?

Yes - they already charge monthly. . .

FINALLY, someone else has noticed this. I didn't really want to say anything before, but this guy creates like a thread every week or two that either links to that site, or some shitty Playstation site(calling that site shitty not the PS), and they are either boneheaded "reports" or troll like topics (see his "was Rare a mistake? thread"). They are also all written by the same guy, who I assume is tinman_licks.

And has there been any reports of when 1 vs 100 will launch for real? I didn't even reach the 500 contest entries, but I really don't find it as much fun as the first few lives show now...

So a quick question, what's stopping people from finding these answers online?

I mean I know there is a time limit, but people could have access to the internet while playing. And unless the ask some obscure shit, a person could quickly type the question on Google to try and find the answer.

VERY Interesting session tonight...
We had a 1 beat the Mob (Terminator Kari), and Cashman announced Next Week a "BIG" announcement about Prizes.
Also a couple of Bugs were identified about player scoring and Cashman's Audio cutting out. He said they would be working on those bugs.
Edit: King, the player (The One) only has 7 Seconds to enter a response otherwise they lose. They would need VERY fast fingers to put the question in google, get the answer and enter it in game in under 7 seconds.

tonight was awesome! and my first time too! i have silver but in the next week or so i will have gold cause my brother goes away to college and his laptop is what i plug the xbox 360 in for internet and my computers wireless died so i need a new one so in the time being before he goes back i use his and it's a waste of money to get gold if i only have his laptop for what 3 months? ha

i had a question though when the real 1 vs 100 comes on will u need gold? and when will it be?

It signifies the prizes that the mob and top 3 in the crowd would win. X amount of MS points, and a free arcade game.

I couldn't believe 30+ people got the following question wrong- "Which of these things was not invented by Benjamin Franklin?":

X. Bifocals
A. Franklin stove
B. Lightning

This game is a LOT of fun. I'm thinking of ponying it up for gold again just because of this. It's a lot of fun to watch and play.

Gripes: - I don't get the point of the live Host. I thought the whole point of him was that he was going to actually host the entire show and the One is able to talk via a mic ect.
- It is going to be impossible to be the one or get into the mob. You always get those crazy people that will just play non stop every day and be 100% perfect every time..

Oh well, lot of fun. It is going to be awesome with real prizes. Will they be giving away XBLA games? And it's awesome that they give away MP's. It is a good idea for Microsoft to do that, because they usually give out 160points to the mob ect. and that is a good amount that makes it so they have to buy more points if they want to get anything...

I think Matt's referring to the fact that I spend most of my time here on the Wii boards - mostly the AC:CF thread.

But I've definitely got more than just a Wii.

This game is a LOT of fun. I'm thinking of ponying it up for gold again just because of this. It's a lot of fun to watch and play.

I'm thinking about getting Gold just for this too, but I wouldn't be able to play it too often, so it might be kind of a waste for me. I kind of wish MS would add the ability to use points to pay for a week or so of Gold membership. I would use something like that.

One thing I didn't understand when playing extended play yesterday was when people would use their "skip" right after they missed a question. Once you miss a question, your streak is over, so I don't see how it hurts to guess on the next question. But instead they would skip and the game would keep their losing streak.:-s

FriskyTanuki

How the fuck do people have ~20k points after three questions in the second game of the night?

Edit: Yeah, if they're getting 17,000 on the first question and then dropping off when they miss a question, they're obviously cheating with some exploit in the system.

Also, Chris Cashman mentioned a big announcement for next week's show, so maybe they're finally starting the first season?

cashman announced last night there is a bug in the scoring system. I had a perfect round ealier tonight with 6 out of 7 instant and lost by 15k points. wich leads me to this if scoring is wacked out then are the stats that allow us in the mob or 1 messed up to would be nice if we could see that part. only 35k playing tonight and was over 100k when started not a good sign

Miranda
06-27-2009, 11:18 PM
I saw two people signed on with the same Gamertag, except the duplicate person had a (1) appended to their name. Maybe that's part of the glitch with the scoring. If they're signed in twice, maybe they're getting double points? Hmm. Or does that just mean it's two different people playing on the same 360, but they're still scored separately?

sendme
06-28-2009, 12:31 AM
I didn't bother to look to see the number on tonight as I was only on for a few questions and then quit. The fact that it is so hard to get into the mob is what stops me from playing. I know I wouldn't get anytthing if I was in the mob but still. About 2 weeks ago when I first played their was 80-90k and now that it has went down to 35k thats alot. Wonder how few will be on when it actually starts. Hell if the nubmers keep getting smaller it will just be 1 vs 1 if that.

I'm surprised how Beta is almost over, but there still seems to be bugs. Like the scoring glitch, or the audio often cutting off, or people not being able to get in game.

The hardcore peoples of the internet would be livid pissed if that scoring glitch was during the normal season.

@ wakawakawa, That's why Cashman said during every live show this past weekend that the team was still working on these issues AND that Prizes will NOT be given out UNTIL these issues are fixed, so I think we will be Beta for the forseeable future... plus Matt, you are looking at the deadline for the Sweepstakes (July 12th)... not the end date for the BETA. how do u get in the MOB! what do u have to be in the top ten?

Be picked and be good.

Don't listen to him. That's BS. There is absolutely NO WAY in hell your score, answer accuracy, speed, etc. has anything to do with it. Tonight's game proved this a million times over.

Think about it. IF only the top players were getting into the 101, we wouldn't have 20+ people think "Are You There God? It's Me Margaret" was written by Margaret Thatcher. We wouldn't have One's needing help to figure out whether the Beatles sung about Ellen DeGeneres or Eleanor Rigby. And we most certainly would not have a "Brain" think that the lyric is "I'm just a hunk...a hunk...of butter fudge."

I was really into this game when it first came out, but after another 2 hours of only being in the crowd, I doubt I'll be playing anymore. Watching from the sidelines becomes increasingly infuriating when for weeks we saw people taking the "money" when there were no prizes, but now that there are prizes people keep going and lose everything. The only enjoyment comes out of making fun of stupid answers/people who choose stupid answers with a few friends.

Microsoft was really on to something with this method of gameplay. But the execution is getting more and more stale each week.

I prefer the selection of the one and mob being random. Otherwise the game would be dominated by nerds that have nothing better to do than abuse the system.

The problem is, that's not what they're telling us. So, if they're lying about that...who knows what else they're lying about.

Agreed on all counts, the hunk of butter fudge answer turnout made me lol.

Good at what? BJ's on Bill Gates? lol...I'm just saying man. Can we honestly believe the people missing those ridiculously easy questions are "good"? My lifetime answer accuracy was up to 80% tonight and my score is at 1,329,000+. I'm not obsessed with the game, but I'd like to think that's at least "pretty good".
Good at answering the questions quickly? The whole game part of the show. I'm not sure what you think gets you on the top ten list if you don't think that's how you get one of the top ten scores.

Yeah, answering the questions quickly and accurately (pretty much not missing a question) gets you on the top 10. I'm not disputing that. But those people aren't being chosen for the mob. If they were, how would they turn around and miss the very first question? It doesn't make sense. If the One was so brainy and fast and awesome to be chosen above everybody else, why would he need to use a help on the first question?

I never said they had to be good to be picked, just that to get in the Mob, you have to be picked.

First time playing....and I was confused when it came to "the mob"

there were times where my roommate, friend, and i (3 different consoles in 2 different locations and 2 different rooms) would finish well, but we wouldn't get the 80/160 points and xbox live game. One of us read that the top 3 of the mob got the stuff. That's cool and all...but when playing extended play, I noticed that I would answer questions in 1.10 or whatever while some would answer fucking .03!

HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!??!

And of course, there were plently of times where I would get kicked out the game...but it's a beta, so I know it's expected.....

I guess I just need more clarification of the rules and such to really enjoy this

I'm guessing that you were in the crowd the entire game, like everyone else, so you don't get anything if you see that note about the mob members getting points and a game when The One loses. Unless the background of your widget at the top of the screen has dots in it and not the purple lines of the crowd, you weren't in the mob.

The people that get 0 response times are just trying to hit X, or whatever button they choose, as fast as possible without care if they get the right answer so they can be seen as the top player in that category.

Several Ones got the first question wrong when they should have at least used a help.

It's been stated on xbox.com why the One uses the 3 helps on the first questions. They have a system set up that if the one doesn't answer on the first three, the system automatically uses a help for them; which is why we saw so many ones uses 3 helps and go down on the fourth question. I had heard past Ones complain that, once they were chosen, they were slammed with PMs, sometimes to the point that they couldn't do anything gamewise. (They should call this trolling "Crowd's Revenge.")

To address a few other points:

-The Mob being so stupid. SOmetimes, people accidentally click the wrong button as they move their finger; I have done this myself. Or, in the moment, you blank out and click the wrong one, realizing what you have done a moment too late (Frisky has seen me do this). Any one who has ever played, say, poker with friends, then go somewhere competitive where money is on the line (like a casino) has probably had the same "stagefright" experience.

-The scoring. Speed counts as the streaks do add in an additional multiplier. However, I question how heavily the spped weighs in. I have watched myself be 10 points out of the top ten, get all the questions right with good time (about 180), only to go to 25 points out of top ten, 40 points out of top ten and by two more questions: 200 points out of top ten. (As a side note, I switched from using my wireless adapter to plugging in a network cable, and saw my speed bonus go from an average of 170-180 pts to 180-190 pts.)

Personally, I'm getting burned out. I played every Extended play this week (except the one that didn't load the other night) and played the EP until the live game last night. I wasn't even giving it my full attention last night; I had the controller next to me and spent the time drawing and would glance up, reach over and hit a button, and then go back to drawing. I found that my speeds were slightly lower, but my accuracy was about the same. I didn't even notice that Patch of Blue was the One again. (Head over to the xbox boards, you see that some people have been selected many times to be in the Mob or the One. There can't be only a handful of good players.)

But remember, it is only a beta. If this ever comes out of beta, I'd be kinda curious to see what the polished game is like.

Matt Young

I find it hard to even do extended play anymore. It's still fun to me, but with such a backlog, it feels like a waste of time to play that. The live show, on the other hand, I've missed lately due to not being available.

I have no idea how they choose the one and the mob. A friend of mine got in the mob last weekend, and he never bothers with extended play.

This is a valid point, and definitely something that has to be taken into consideration. However, I STILL don't think it would be as noticeable as what we're seeing. 10 people not knowing what the T in BLT stands for? I'm just not buying it.

Yes, there have been times when, in my haste, I pressed the wrong button, or I regret an answer immediately after locking it in. But I still maintain an 80% accuracy. If the people being selected for the mob are truly that much better than me, one would think their "screw up rate" would be proportionally lower.

Either way, it doesn't much matter. The game is what it is. It just feels like for some reason we're not on equal ground with some of the other contestants.

I'm not in disagreement on that last statement. I wasn't really paying attention last night, and didn't notice until afterward, but -surprise, surprise- Patch of Blue was the One. (To be fair, I have seen him post on xbox.com, and he's a pretty decent guy.)

There's a fine line that has to be walked. You don't want an easy mob against a super-good One, or vice versa (Yet, I have seen people make it to the One their first time playing.)

I think the Skip option in EP should be gone. And if speed counts, it should only count for a correct answer. (Seriously, otherwise, how do people get "What planet on you on?" wrong? I thought it was Celebrity Jeopardy the first time I saw that question.)

I am losing interest, though. Even doing last night's show, I just didn't have any fun.

It doesn't matter if its free (it's not really "free" btw if I have to watch Sprint ads when I don't have the option to skip it...)

If you ran a company, and nobody complained, would you change anything???? HELL NAH! You'd keep running the company the way it is.

Free or paid, if it is broke, then it needs to be fixed. Period. This needs to be fixed with better explainations and quite possibly a more level playing field. I've only played it for one night and I can tell it still needs work. Then again, it's a beta, so complaints like mine and others are what will make this "free" program that is only available to those who paid for xbox live gold AND advertises products I wish not to see better.

Given the way people play the brain is almost always someone guessing randomly and going for the speed bonus who has just happened to be right thusfar; taking that help is akin to guessing randomly. In the very best case they're actually trying but facing the same (hopefully) difficult question you are.

Your chances of getting in are reset every week, so it doesn't matter what your total score or overall percentage are when it comes to being picked.

That's basically it. Anybody that's posting here has a small chance of getting picked regardless of whatever stats they can quote about how good they are. It's still pretty much random as to who is picked for each game. If they showed everyone what their chances are in the profile, that would probably help out a lot, but otherwise, your chances might as well be zero.

No, Plume. I got on about quarter till 9. I remember Chris talking about a question like that, where a guy asked if prizes were being sent out yet since he hadn't gotten a message yet.

I was actually first for a few questions in the video game round on Monday night, but then I had to use a skip to preserve my streak when I hit the wrong button accidentally. :bomb:

Other than that, I've cracked the top ten a few times, but usually can't hold onto it as the questions begin to get harder.

Also, I added you as a friend. I can't believe I forgot to do that. :)

I made a post on Xbox.com about a potential tactic I called "leeching" that I hope gets fixed in the final version.

http://forums.xbox.com/28081179/ShowPost.aspx

There are a few ways to fix it, like not showing you when the other people in your group lock their answers in, or by adding a delay when they do.

Given the way people play the brain is almost always someone guessing randomly and going for the speed bonus who has just happened to be right thusfar; taking that help is akin to guessing randomly. In the very best case they're actually trying but facing the same (hopefully) difficult question you are.

The Brain sucks early on, but it's worth a shot later on.

Guessing randomly means you have a 1/3 chance of getting it right, and the odds of getting every question right by guessing decay exponentially - the odds of getting five right by guessing, for example, are (1/3)^5, or 1/243, or about 0.4%.

The Brain is probably more helpful in the later questions, but then you've got to balance that against the increased difficulty of the questions.

Several Ones got the first question wrong when they should have at least used a help.

Last Saturday The One failed to answer a question, and was eliminated. The gamertag later posted on the xbox forums what had actually happened.

The first three questions, if the game does not register the player ringing in an answer, then it automatically chooses a help at random. After the first three questions, it will just report that the one failed to answer.

The one in this case started getting messages, friends requests and other xbox live email to the point that it slowed the game so much that it would not register his responses in time.

Basically he was spammed by other xbox users into losing. This has also been reported by several other players who were selected as The One.

Not fair - I've been playing a few times a week and have done most of the live games for the past month (starting with the week before they began giving away prizes), and haven't made the mob yet. :-s

At this point, the fun I've been having is less from the game itself and more who I play with. I've been playing with one of my friends from high school and, for the past few sessions, PlumeNoir. Sending messages back and forth and (occasionally) making fun of each other or ourselves for stupid answers makes the game more enjoyable.

I've come close to prizes a few times. I was in the top ten for a while on Friday's session, and on Saturday I was ~29 points out from third place, although not high enough to crack the top ten that round.

Made it into the mob last night (Lost on the 4th Question) and tonight. Tonight I WON in the Mob! I won Age of Booty AND 400 MS Points! (The one failed to answer this question:
Which Competition Singer sang at the 2009 NBA Finals:
X - Susan Boyle
A - Adam Lambert
B - Kris Allen
The answer was A.)
I am Stoked!!!
Have Any other CAG's won anything?

I got in the mob tonight and I hadn't played for at least 2 weeks, I popped in @ 9:30 est and got plopped in the blue.

... but then I lost on the same question the one did (Bering Strait). FML

Have they changed how getting picked for the mob/one works? I might start playing this again if you don't have to put in 2-3 hours a night all week for a slight chance to be in the mob.

I dunno. I just assume it's completely random, and when there's upwards to 40,000 people playing at once, your chances aren't going for you. I was just extremely lucky.

I thought if your were not the 1, everyone else was in the mob.

Nope, tens of thousands of people are playing... they only select a hundred people randomly to be in The Mob, everyone else is in The Crowd.

Anybody been able to get into tonight's live event? Neither me or my friends could get into it and wonder if it is messed up from the xbox live update this week?

Tonight's Game has been canceled. Shame. Tomorrow there will be an update as to the Live Game's status.
Edit: Just checked my email today and I have 2 emails with my 400 Points code and my Age of Booty Code from my Mob win a couple of weeks ago. SWEET!

For whatever reason, they were having problems according to their twitter account. They gave up for the night about half an hour or so, but seem positive about having it fixed in time for tomorrow night. Figures to, seeing how it was the first time I got a chance to play it in 3 weeks. >_>

They had more technical problems last night. About half an hour into the game, I was unceremoniously kicked into the lobby. When I came back in, there was a new One playing and the Mob dropped from ~80 to two with one easy question (presumably because they were all kicked too).

Just tried this out for the first time tonight. For some reason I just can't get into it.

It seems like the questions are overwhelmingly pop culture oriented, which leads to huge scores for opponents who then get questions like: "What is the common name for Sodium Bicarbonate?" wrong.

I think I'll stick to the games with specific themes, rather than playing Primetime.

I don't get the scoring. I played some Primetime last night, and I got every question right so far. I wasn't hitting the button as soon as the question came up, but neither was I dawdling. My score was like 6k, and the top scorer was at around 12k.
I think it's fun enough for an episode or two, but I definitely think I'll be more interested in the themed shows. The odds of me getting picked to even be in the Mob are frustratingly low.

JStryke

I didn't understand that either. It's like some people's scores counted for the last question, other's didn't.

Your Avatar is dressed to the nines. The crowd is restless and ready to win. The spotlight shines on you when the host calls your name. Are you ready to play “1 vs 100” on Xbox LIVE? The entertainment phenomenon that took Xbox LIVE by storm is hitting your Xbox 360 again with Season 2 of “1 vs 100” on Xbox LIVE!

Based on Endemol’s hit TV game show, Xbox has pioneered a completely new genre of entertainment. Bringing together the best of television show experiences and interactive video games, “1 vs 100” Season 2 on Xbox LIVE will again feature Chris Cashman as the comedic live host everyone has come to love, all-new fresh trivia, and more real prizes.

“1 vs 100” Season 2 will run for 14 weeks and bring you new and exciting features. Get the inside scoop (and a jump start on the questions) by answering the following:

Question 1: “1 vs 100” Season 2 will premier on Xbox LIVE:
A: November 19, 2009 at 5:00 pm PT
B: November 24, 2009 at 5:00 pm PT
C: New Years Eve at 5:00 pm PT

Question 2: In “1 vs 100” Season 2, your chances of taking center stage are cooler than ever. During “1 vs 100 Live” shows, “The One” and “The Mob” will be selected based on:
A: Score, speed, accuracy, and number of Achievements you’ve earned.
B: Score, score, score – totals across the Season, the week and the round!
C: How many pigeons you have in your back yard.

The answer to question one is…. A: November 19 at 5:00 pm PT!
The answer to question two is…..B: Score, score, score – totals across the Season, the week and the round!

The higher your score, the higher your chances of being chosen as “The One,” or “The Mob.” Being “the One” is exciting and intense! So, if you’re chosen as “the One” in “1 vs 100” Season 2, Xbox LIVE will automatically change your status to “Busy.” You’ll also enjoy more time in the spotlight – “the One” will strike a pose at the top of the stairs before strolling down to center stage.

Beginning on November 19, “1 vs 100 Extended Play” will feature brand new themed trivia every weeknight including “Finish the Lyrics” (are you a Karaoke champ? What’s the next line in this song?), “80s” (how well do you know the 80s?), and “Vampires” (you love Twilight and True Blood. How much do you really know about vampires?)

We let the Xbox LIVE community speak for itself – on average more than half a million unique contestants competed in “1 vs 100” every single week during the 15 week Beta season of “1 vs 100,” which launched on June 1, 2009. Up to 114,000 people in the US and Canada, and 79,000 people in the UK and Ireland competed simultaneously in “1 vs 100 Live” shows. Microsoft even awarded nearly two million Microsoft points as prizes during the Beta season! “1 vs 100” was also downloaded nearly three million times making it one of the top 10 most downloaded pieces of content on Xbox LIVE to date.

So read up on your current events, and see you at the premiere of “1 vs 100” Season 2! Tune in next week for more details…
It's good that they're changing up how they're picking The Mob and The One, but the lack of pricing info is disappointing since it starts next week. If it was going to be free again, they'd have mentioned it by now.

I really hope they don't put a price on it this season. It was a great way for my family and I to get together and just have some fun for a night but if I have to pay for it on top of the $50 for my membership, it may not happen again.

They never said after BETA that it was going to continue to be free but I really doubt they will charge for this season.

Will they eventually charge? Probably.

I would guess that it will be considered a value add for Gold members.

No, they said the first season would be free and haven't said anything about the second season yet.

Definitely post if you hear if it's going to be free or not. This was the one reason I wanted to make my Live account gold. Too much of a PC gamer to get a kick out of most console games online, but I had a great time playing this co-op with a couch full of people. Not so much I want to spend more than a gold subscription on it, though.

From the Learn More part of the 1 vs 100 section of the Spotlight tab on the dashboard:

"Season 2 of 1 vs 100 on Xbox Live is free with a Gold Membership."

It also specifically mentions achievements, so that seems like it'll finally be happening.

Hot damn. Time to actually sign up for gold. Had an unreasonably good time playing this last time.

Newb question: how do I download this game or do I download anything? There's no mention of how to download it on their site, nor if a download is even required. What I did see is that apparently the live show is on Friday night, not Thursday (the 19th)? But what time?

It'll let you download the files needed to play a short time before the game starts, but they weren't that big (it was two <50 MB files). If they update the game, it'll probably force you to redownload those files again before joining the game that week.

It shows in the Primetime Guide that there are a bunch of Extended Plays on Thursday from 8 PM EST to Midnight and the same for Friday until the live show starts at 10 PM EST.

The fact that they're still putting Extended Plays on the day of a live show that they didn't get that it causes people to burn out on it rather than making the big shows a big deal as the only thing that happens on those days.
