I went in looking for GripShift to re-sell and I found some other goodies...
2x Wavebirds in mint condition for $17.99 a piece, Beyond Good and Evil (PS2) for $5.99 in like new condition, and of course GripShift for $7.99, game only. How did I do?

What's this about Grip Shift? Isn't that game as common as dirt?
Nice score with the Wavebirds.

Edited. Any/all talk of console modding may not take place on CAG. Thanks!

Yea I was blown away on the wavebirds as well. Not just one, but two in near perfect condition. As for GripShift, go ahead and check out what it's going for on Amazon and see what I mean. ;)

Hehe I scored 3 wavebirds (platinum) in my location. 2 were mint and 1 was in very good condition, a little scrubbing should help it :D
Although I'm not sure if im gonna use all four.

I haven't seen a wavebird around here in forever, fortunately I bought mine before the Wii craze started so I got the 17.99 price and didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for one.

Yea I almost bought one on Amazon for an ungodly amount a few months back and I'm glad I held off. $17.99 is perfect for me! :) I was completely stunned to find them there as I have been looking for one for years now.

I love your intentions, guin. However, you made it blatantly obvious what its purpose is.

Yea, I don't really think I did anything wrong. I never explained why I was buying the game; I just explained what the prices were on Amazon. That's just flipping talk, not "modding" talk. In any case, it's fine. :)

Wavebirds are hard to find. I wish GS would have them online to check if they have any in stock locally

Yea I know!!! I almost fell over when I saw them. I haven't opened them yet but they will get a thorough cleaning...like everything I get used lol. :)
TO add to the list, I also grabbed another 2 copies of Gripshift as well as a GC memory card for $1.79 at GS as well. Not bad for me I think!

How big was GC memory card? I got the 1019 memory card (official) at a flea market for $5 dollars. :D

It was only the 59 block but that's all I really need. I saw some brand new one's at a blockbuster of all places recently for $20 so I'll pick that up down the road. I just want to finally play Pikmin 1 and 2 and MGS: Twin Snakes finally lol.

Haha! The funny thing is that about a month ago I went into the same store looking for a GC memory card and they had one for $24.99...used. Of course I didn't bite, but luckily this one popped out at me. They had another one hbut it looked horribly dirty and I didn't want to catch herpes or soemthing from touching it.

It's the first party wireless controller for the Nintendo Gamecube. They are pretty hard to find and can go for about $50 per controller on the open market...hence why buying two of them for $38.xx is a great deal.
By the way, I finally got home and tested them out and they work great! I didn't notice that I actually bought a normal grey one and a platinum one so I was pretty happy. The platinum will stay at my house while the grey one will go to the gf's house. I cleaned them up and disinfected them for about an hour lol. The platinum looks like it was never even used because it had dust on it and batteries still inside. The grey one looked like it had some use with a light scratch on the back but it works beautifully. Now I know why these controllers are so hard to find! :)
