I went to a bunch of different GameStops and I got a total of 10 GripShifts, 5 PS2 network adapters, PoP LE (Used), and a USED PS3 Keypad that was NEVER opened for $23 or so after tax.
The cool part of it all was the keypad, originally $50, marked to $30 used, then I had the 20% off plus my Edge card brought it to around $23. The best part was that it was never even opened, so I basically got a brand new keypad for my PS3 for $23.
Overall a really good day IMO.

Forgive me for not being up-to-date on the PSP scene (I sold mine about three years ago), but why all the copies of Gripshift?

They sell for around $50 each on eBay and they found an exploit in the PSP-3000 via Gripshift.

Nice find on the used LE for PoP.
Good haul over all.

Yeah, but you did overall better than me dallow. 5 Gripshifts and 3 adapters in a short run, this took me about 12 hours to get.

Ah. Well, that would explain it.
Good catches then. Enjoy your profit after resale.
you do realized that by making this post you alert more people to resell, which cuts down on your profit

Yes they already sold for $500, plus I cleared out all of Orlando, so I have no really worry as to being undercut profit wise nor do I fear someone in my area being alerted (from myself) to this. Don't worry I've thought this all through.

So why are network adapters worth some much now? Are they just hard to find or something?

They are worth a lot because it allows piracy on the phat PS2 since it lets you use a HDD.

nice work on gripshift! I'm glad I got in on it early...I have a feeling it'll be down even further next week.

I have a feeling it's pointless. Every time there has been a game dependent mod a normal one has come out soon after.

Yeah that's the coupon thread I basically begged my friend (dallow) to scanso that I could use it, he then posted it for all CAGers to enjoy.

In the past few days or so I have seen tons of new listings for gripshift and the network adapters. XD
I really wish I could get a network adapter without paying the high price. :( I would really love to play socom 2.

Haha nicely done bro! I'm in on the Gripshift hunt myself and so far I've only netted 3 from 3 stores. I'm hoping my other store has at least 2 copies and a network adapter or 2. I did find 2 wavebirds surprisingly at one store that is usually hoarded.

you better dump those soon my 3 copies went for 36.00 27.00 45.00 which isnt bad if you think about it.
Also would someone tell me why people love wave birds so much I am behind the times on the gamecube stuff.
I picked up 2 ps2 network adapters one night and the next morning they were sold at 40 each. I just found one from a kid at school for ten bucks and my brother who lives in a big city just picked up two for me.
But good haul guys

I happened to stumble onto them at Fry's before I headed home. I went in looking for a USB thumbdrive and came across those babies smiling back at me.

LOL they still have buttloads of copies of Gripshift on clearance at Fry's. For the longest time they couldn't give them away and were throwing in a copy with every PSP purchase. I should see if they have any left, LOL.
Which one did you clear out, sosodead?

Wait, are people just now realizing that Network Adapters are rare? I knew about that back in June. Hope you all don't saturate the market like you did with Gripshift (I didn't find out about that until it was too late).
Edit: If the network adapters are going for $40.00 now, it's already too late, you guys saturated the market. They were going for around $60.00 two months ago.

You never can control the market on video games man....there is always that one person who will sell for even a dollar less just to get the sale

My friend was telling about this guy on ebay from Indonesia who was buying literally hundreds of network adapters....He bought 5 of my friends.
All sent to an address in LA somewhere.
