Oh, what an exciting day. The 24 game losing streak is finally over, the Lions must've just wanted the record and after they got it they must've been happy, thus allowing them to win today. Thank God.

It wasn't a sure thing either until that last INT.
Watching the Bears drive the field in the last minute, I had already conceded that we were going to lose.
China Doll (Charlie Rogers) is already out for the season. Broke his collarbone again on the Lions' first offensive series. At least it looks like Roy Williams is the real deal.

Ya, Rogers is turning into a real pussy. It'd be nice if he could play maybe 10 games 1 season.

Roy Williams was crazy good on that play ... and I've played entirely too much ESPN NFL 2K5.

How exactly does a broken collarbone end his season (again) anyway. I broke my collarbone back in high school and it was back playing basketball within a month. Back to pretty much full strength within 2.

Never had a broken bone, but I would have to say that basketball isn't football.

Well ya, but a broken bone still heals up the same way regardless. My break was really bad, the doctor said it was one of the worst he'd ever seen, and yet I was functioning again within a month. I don't really think the sport has anything to do with it, I just think C. Roge is a pussy. Of course that's not uncommon of Michigan State football players is it. Although... Central lost to them, so... ya know I'm digging a hole here so I'm just gonna stop.

Depends on the kind of break and where it is to be honest, plus I doubt you had 275 lb guys built like a rock trying to hit you as hard as they could whenever you touched the basketball.

Edit: Also, being a horse and all do you even have a collarbone?

Sure I do, I caught an elbow right to the clavicle. The guy was trying to stop me from stealing the ball from him on consecutive possessions.

Jags had their hands full trying to get past the mediocre Bills. *sigh* This is going to be a long season...

I feel for you there ... I've always had a small spot in my heart for the Jags, since I lived in Jacksonville for the earliest part of my life.

I was always a Jags fan too actually. I loved it when that team knocked off Denver years ago in the play-offs. But after they fired Tom Coughlin and moved Mark Brunell... well it's hard to look at them the same way. If they get rid of Jimmy Smith that's the end of it. Hell there was a point in time where I'd pick Jacksonville every week, no matter the point spread, for about 3 years running... I miss those Jaguars.

Too bad Kevin Jones played like crap, I was really counting on him for a few Fantasy Leagues. Any chance of him not sucking in the future?

Yeah, that was kind of a let down, but... keep in mind that was only his first game, so there's still a lot of time.

Its gonna take some time for the O-line to gel and give the type of blocking that Jones needs. Damien Woody helps, but the line as a whole is average at best.

This was their first away win since like 2000, right?

well at least the streak is over, but it came at a cost because of Rogers, but he seems to be a little bitch, so fuck him.
