Let'ss et up a game for today, people. I went with the suggestion that I post when I'm ready to go in the thread, hoping to get a game per day in order to meet the deadline. I've had no games the last 2 days, so I'm kind of running behind through no fault of my own. Only Immortal has even attempted to play me, but unfortunately he was too late on Wednesday and I was unable to stay awake till the time he wanted to play last night.

Note that I am not saying I can play right this second, but I'd like to set up at least 1 game for some time today, preferably starting no later than 7 Pacific/10 Eastern.

Great game, Juan. Even though you never trailed, the game was close throughout and the deficit I faced was never more than single digits. But when Kobe went cold, even though Fish stepped up from beyond the arc, I was doomed.

Stars of the game were Lebron with 67 points, Kobe with 45 (was keeping pace before going cold) and Fisher with 15 points and 16 assists. 4 men scored in double figures for me; 3 for Juan.

If I had to choose 2 words to describe your play style, it'd be "fucking squirrely". You were running around like a squirrel on speed, LOL. It was hard to guard you.

That was a great game. It looked a lot like a Kobe-LeBron 1 on 1 contest with both guys just scoring at will. Every time I tried to pull away on the scoreboard you would come back and kill my lead....especially near the end when you got within 2 points with a minute left. Thank God my guys hit their free throws at the end.

Yea you were hot, and I couldn't hit anything. My damn thing froze as soon as it got to the halftime cutscreen. It's been freezing more lately, might be time to call MS before my warranty expires in May.

Great game, WeavShow. Much better than the 19 and 20 point blowouts we played before, LOL. Good thing we didn't use headsets, because I used the word "fuck" a lot, aminly in regards to Kobe going cold in the first half and my guys allowing you to get approximately 852 and 1/3 offensive rebounds.

I only had 6 guys who took any shots, and my offense was all Kobe and the red hot (for once) Pau Gasol. I couldn't believe I missed that 3 at the end with Fisher, though, and then I couldn't get it back out in time.

2 great games today; 2 tough, close losses for me. Both games were critical to my playoff chances down the line. Boo. 9 more games for me to go, and 6 days (assuming we cannot play on April 4th) to play them in. I wonder how many of us will finish.

Definitely a good game between me and Matt last night. You really did get killed on the boards. I swear, sometimes it's like this game just decides a team is going to score on a particular possession, and they keep getting offensive rebound after offensive rebound until they finally put it in. I was definitely the lucky recipient of that decision at least a couple times yesterday.

Guys, just wanted to let you know that as of this writing there are 21 regular season games remaining on the schedule. This means we should have no major problems once the April 4 deadline is reached if we get these games knocked out in the coming days.

Tmac hor as in Yao Ming had 28 and 20 and you couldn't stop him, your offense consisted of chucking 3s with Peja and Posey, and you got pounded inside? No thats not T-mac hor. T mac just had fast break points OH and 11 Assists (thats hore right?) If you can't go to your coach profiles and put up your get back tempo then don't call me a Tmac hore, especially when you had 3 games in a row to adjust to any defense AND in 1 where I could barely hit a 3 with him.

EDIT: By the way I wanted to let admins know that I only had 2 games scheduled and played with weavshow while 4 games were scheduled for MSU (3 of which were played). Is this an error?

2K generates league schedules without any admin input. I know it's weird and I don't know why they do it like that but oh well.....I also had Weavshow on my schedule twice, he got the Warriors 4 times :-k

Dude, TMac has taken more shots then anyone in the league, and you've only played nine games. You're averaging over 33 shots per game with him.

I can't speak for the oft-injured McGrady, but Kobe is an elite player. Lebron James is the same way. Juan was running all over me with him. You, Immortal, were unstoppable with the "back into the basket and baby hook" with Shaq. WeavShow runs circles around guys and drives it in with regularity while controlling Rajon Rondo. Every team has "that guy".

Great game once again, Juan. But I should just quit CAG leagues. The games are so much fun, but the end result is painful. I could easily be 8-4 right now, but I've lost 3 straight close games. Most of my losses in the CAG NHL 09 league were by 1 goal.

I can take the blowout losses like my first 2 games with Weav-Diddy, but the close ones hurt and make me not want to play anymore for the night, heh.

Honestly, I don't know how the heck did I win that game. You had me against the ropes late in the game but my backcourt really stepped up on D late in the game. That Lebron steal near the end when the game was 85-82 was the clincher for me IMO.

I thought I wasn't going to come back after you lead went up to 12 late because my guys were not knocking down most of their shots in the third but I managed to hit some big 3's late to get close. Mo Williams, who's played like crap for me in this league, bailed me out big time in the 4th quarter with those buckets he was hitting.

Actually, T-mac was only scoring on fast break because thats the game I like to play. Collapse you with my defense and take quick advantage of it. When you scored, I brought it down, posted with Yao and either dished out to a 3 point shooter or took it up. Personally, I don't care what you think of my game because my job here is playing in a CAG LEAGUE Game not a SIM league. I'm not in charge of playing like the Rockets would in real life, I am in charge of playing how I enjoy and what suits me. I didn't glitch on you or exploit any cheat. Okay, I may as well just say at this point that it won't be possible for me to finish my games and let Juan do what needs to be done. I want to finish; I've tried to finish. But unless I can somehow play 8 games after I get home tonight, that won't be happening. I won't be available at all on Saturday.

I hope this won't exclude me from consideration for a future league or tournament, because I've made a strong effort to get games in. For a while there, I did not, due to being busy with school- and adjusting to the collegiate workload- and chiefly because I thought the league was mostly dead soon after Franky left. But this past week, I went 3 nights in a row posting that I wanted to play, but no one accepted the challenge.

Now, I'm not holding anyone else at fault. It was my fault that I was behind in the first place, and the 2 opponents who I was to play in 6 of the 8 games- Xxxplosive and dudedizzle- have had stuff going on. Xxxplosive mentioned family health issues (hope things are okay now, man) and dudedizzle, from what I can gather, is a kid who is in high school, which means getting up early and spending 7 hours per weekday in school, etc. Plus there's the 3 hour time difference between both of them and myself.

To summarize, it will be impossible at this point to get my remaining games in, but I hope you all understand my plight just as I understand yours. I can guarantee timely playing of my games in any future league or tournament, and I'll continue to read and post in this thread. I'm up for exhibition games sometimes, too. I like and respect you guys, and look forward to playing with you in the future. I hope the sentiment is reciprocated.

Yes, it's a 7 game matchup. Also, I won't be able to play until Wednesday :-( since I'll be at work. Hopefully we'll be able to finish this round this week and the winners can get the finals done by the end of next week.

Congrats on the playoff teams. Im sorry recent problems had me unable to play often the past two weeks, but I tried hard to schedule with you guys the other couple of months. I think we had a good league and if you guys want to start up again after the playoffs, I down with that.

OH NO. Here's the thing. I can play all you want, but this thursday I'm leaving for vaca until sunday. AND I have spring break right now and no school work so I'm available a lot until thursday. Maybe we could schedule games later at night Eastern time?

That's why I posted earlier that I would be available starting Wednesday since I'll be off from that day forward till Sunday. Perhaps we can play sometime during the afternoon.....maybe 2 or 3 pm eastern since I'll be awake by that time?

I'll also be available most of the day tomorrow, so if there's a time you could play, I'll also be around for a lot of the weekend. Basically, let me know what times are good over the next four or five days and, if you have time, I'm pretty sure we can get our series done.

Hitman and I just played the first two games of our playoff series. The first was really tight through most of the first three quarters. Both of us were playing zone and getting absolutely torched by 3's (he hit 13 and I hit 18, I believe, and we both shot over 40%). During the third quarter, though, the shots stopped falling for him, and I managed to pull away for the win. In the second game, he shut down my perimeter game, but Rondo got hot (hit a few running layups after a foul that were absolutely absurd. I can only imagine how loudly I would've cursed 2K in Hitman's place) and I opened up a ten point lead going into the half. Then Rondo stopped making shots, Hitman was playing some tight D, and he managed to cut the lead to two points (or take the lead... I forget). Anyway, I managed to squeak by him at the very end and sink some free throws to win by 5 or 6. Good games, both of them.

Yeah I was yelling that Rondo is not that good. I can even understand T-Mac but Rondo was ridiculous. He scored 52 for you in the second game!

Looks like you forgot that I am a league admin :p. I'm off from work starting Tuesday so if you want we can play in the afternoon if you want to on that day. I've been extremely busy with work and other important stuff going on that has kept me from playing ANY game for several days now. So just relax and calm down, we'll get our series completed.

Penny and I just played game 1 of our series and he won 99-86. Amazing how Yao Ming can just camp in the paint and not get called for 3 sec violation in this game. Proof of that is the 38 3-PT attemps I had. Oh well.....
