Random Question. Do guys generally find high maintenance women to be more attractive than their low maintenance counterparts? If so, why?
it's a case by case basis.

I personally dislike High Maint women. They may be good for a short time but it really wears you down after awhile.
High Maintence women are not good for the long haul.

"High Maintenance" is a buzzword females use to justify being gold-digging bitches. There's a difference between her enjoying the finer points of capitalism and just wasting your money and time.

For some reason I thought ZL started this thread.
To answer your question, it really depends. I'm sure there are high maintenance broads out there that are worth the commitment, but for the most part they inspire emo songs.

High maintenance women can be a bigger challenge. Once you accomplish your goal and she gives it up to you, your life will become a living hell if you stick around.

Nothing but a glorified prostitute then. This reminds me of an interesting story:
Nancy Astor(First woman elected to Britain's Parliament) was speaking with Winston Churchill in a pub one night. Winston suggested having a theoretical discussion about morality. He suggested that as a thought experiment, Astor consider the question: If a man were to promise her a massive amount of money, like a million pounds, would she sleep with him? Astor thought about it for a while and answered "Yes, but only if the money was guaranteed." Churchill then asked her if she would sleep with him for Five pounds. Her response was"No! What do you think I am, a prostitute?!" to which Churchill (with great wit) replied,
"We have already established that fact; now we are merely negotiating price."
The fact of the matter is; if she won't put out unless you spend tons of money on her then she's a prostitute. You might as well go for the cheaper option.

It's pretty much a requirement. Why would they be tolerated otherwise, unless they were trading on their looks?

I've been too much of a 'relationship' guy most of my life to deal with high maintainance women. I admit they 'can' be more attractive from a one-night stand standpoint, but I wouldn't want to come home to them at the end of the day.

Nope, in fact if I find a lady to be high matienance, then that makes them less attractive in my eyes. However, it kind of depends on what you define as high matienance. I have friends that say a girl is too high matienance, when they don't seem that way to me.

Yeah but thats just because she's still under warranty. After that is over the 3,000 servicings stop being covered free at the dealership. Plus various stuff starts to break, just often enough that she costs as much or more per month than when you were paying off the loan. That is when you realize you could be spending that money on the latest model with warranty service coverage.

I think it all depends on how you define the term "high maintenence" and "low maintenence". When I grew up, high maintenence meant a woman who spent an excessive amount of time physically grooming herself. It had nothing to do with money. While it may have been annoying for her boyfriend or husband to wait on her to get out of the bathroom, the waiting was much more preferable to a girl who was low maintenence and spent alot less time on things like washing and shaving her legs (and other body parts) on a regular basis.

Since when have people been getting serviced at the dealership?

It might be a bigger issue than that. Maybe she either consciencely or subconsciencely wants security for her future. Or her children some day. A rich guy is more likely to provide that for her than some guy on welfare. Think about it.

The ends may justify the means, but that doesn't absolve you of all blame for your actions.

You're all missing the point here... money and possessions have always been a major part of a man's wooing process. Look at the severe class system of feudal life, the expensive wooing of the victorian era, even the marriage process of early 20th century America... right now it's probably at its lowest point since neanderthal life.
A woman that expects nice dinners, expensive presents, high-dollar dates.. that's not being a prostitute, its being a normal woman. However, a woman that sleeps with an 80-year old billionaire.. now that is a prostitute (Anna Nicole Smith).

Quite alot of things actually.. its called morals and a code of ethics. I realize the majority of people don't have either these days.. but there is no way I could do certain things for money and look at myself in the mirror the next day.

Heh, I never said I had a moral high ground here 8). The problem with a question of this sort it's always hypothetical. No one really knows what tey're going to do do because they've never been presented with the situation before. I mean, you could say "MAn, I would NEVER give another man oral, not even for 100 million dollars!" but I'm not sure how many people would keep that stance if someone opened a briefcase with even half the amount open right in front of them. IT's for that reason I can't confirm or deny anything. I'd like to think I'd have some restraint when it comes to dong certain things......but wealth is a powerful thing.
