Hey all,
I've been lurking here and picking up deals for our Wii every once in a while, but now I've got a $300 credit at Amazon from a returned Christmas gift and it's burning a hole in my pocket.
I want to pick up a PS3, but I'm hoping I Amazon will have a deal or a good bundle for me - but it sure is hard to wait.
Anyone have any idea what my chances are that Amazon will have a decent deal on a PS3 in the next two months?
Thanks,
Kattman

Fat chance. Try and get a PS3 in your gold box. I think during the holidays Amazon had a PS3 bundle sale, but I can't see one coming back so early in the year. People are also speculating a price drop on the PS3 around March, but who knows?

The prices for PS3's keep going down, there around $399 retail. There were alot of deals that were around, i dont know about right now.
I just wanted to let you know, that most PS3' dont have any Backward Compatablities now. So make sure you know which on your getting.

I thought there were some rumors of a price drop in April.

Yeah I heard about possible price drops in the spring, but there's no way I will be able to hold out that long. :)

This is the only info that i have been able to find about price drops on the PS3. If you can wait until April it will be cheaper.

Thanks for the showing me the trick, but I finally looked at the Gift-Card policy on my refund email. Looks like I can use this to buy something under $300 and they'll just subtract that amount from the card and I can keep using it.
Maybe I'll just use the card on a XBOX 360 Arcade. Or is the Pro version worth the extra $100 if I don't plan on playing multiplayer online?
