anybody know of a place to get a decent chair (not too expensive) to sit back and game in ??
most cheap recliners are 150-200.. and all chairs i have seen at ikea are expensive...
anybody know of a good place to get a comfy chair ( doesn't have to be a recliner) ?

I usually game in my computer chair, as the TV is in the same room. My computer chair is a nice leather chair. :D

I've got one of those, they're good for gaming and they're comfy as hell but now I have one that's even better. It rocks back and forth, It was only around 50 or 60 but it's a great chair. I'll try and find a link to one thats similar to mine, but that is a good choice IMO.

Now that I think about it, you're probably the one who I saw recommending that chair.
I don't have a gaming chair myself, I have a futon in front of the tv.

I got mine at bed bath and beyond for about the same price, if you can't find one at your target.

Ah, I found out what type of the chair I have now is called, if you're still interested and if it's not too late. It's a Video Rocker. They range anywhere from 30-100 something $, but unlike the dish chairs shown there they're seated on the floor, and you can rock almost as far back as you want and are very comfortable. Do you have a color preference?

I like the pic of the two gamers relaxing in the Video Rocker:

Check Craigs List (too lazy to find the link, just google it) for people selling stuff around you.

For my PS2 ive got an old couch that my grandparents gave me, but for my Dreamcast in my room i used to have a cheap bean bag chair from Target, but its lost its shape within a year. Instead im just taking out a camping chair (one of those colapsable chairs like from a sports store) I got mine at sports athority, 2 for $20. Pretty comfortable, although not recommended for gaming benders (got a bad stiff neck after about 2, mybe 3 hours)
This thing looks pretty comfy though

Weird. I just noticed that the dish chairs (red & black) at Target.com are $39.99, but the green one is only $29.99. If you went with green, the total with tax and shipping would come to $43.91 (in CA), which is just about what you'd pay in-store. This is definitely the way to go if your Target doesn't carry them or you have a small car.

Green's fine, but I'd pay the extra for the black, cheapass-ness be damned.

You could do what I did and go garage sale haggling. I got 3 la-z boys for about 15-50 each (at different times.) These are the ones that cost hundreds of not over a g in the stores. The only problem is the initial smell but lysol works wonders.

yeah with college move out.. i came across a lot of used furniture...but who knows what was one them... blood .. beer. .. and won't mention what else could possibly be on them... plus they smelled terrible... lysol would have been put to the test..... garage sales are much better.

I picked up one of these dish chairs (http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/sr=1_30/qid=/ref=sr_1_30/602-2619667-4994252?%5Fencoding=UTF8&asin=B00007B9NU) at Target today, and it was on clearance for $34.99. YMMV, of course, but it'd be well worth $40. Verrry comfortable. :D

I was deciding between this, a bean bag, and the rocker chair at target. The dish chair was much more comfortable than the other two. There's a store in my mall called the "Love Sac" (I laughed at the situation of inviting a friend to sit on my love sac) and their bean bags are the most comfortable thing I've ever sat in. Of course all of those are over $100. They even have bean bag couches. :-P

i was going to suggest a 5$ blow up fold out chair(used for pools and water. its so comfortable. it can be a bit higher and the bottom half folds under or it folds out like your reclining(except flat on the ground) and i fell asleep in it last night. its more comfy than my bed, and my dad gave it to me because the blow up tubes and water toys dont sell during the winter.......i just snatched this from the storage room............
