I have 2 free copies of Braid (Xbox 360) to give away, so I want to run a fun little contest.

To do so:

1) You must have been a CAGer for at least 3 months.
2) Post a picture of the worst game you have ever played. Make sure to include the title of the game and the system you played it on.
3) You must not own a copy of Braid. I will require you to send me your xbox live account name so I can verify this if you win.
4) Upon winning, the code must be redeemed by Friday, January 23rd. If you do not redeem it by then, I will send it to someone else.

Shaq Fu for the genesis, game gear, super nintendo, gameboy, and later the Amiga. I played it on super nintedo, and had to of been the worst game I have ever played. Superman 64 wasn't even that bad.
It's definitely the worst fighter game ever, as the hit detection was horrible, and the plot and dialogue were a joke. Not to mention Shaq's cameo as the main mascot, which did him a great deal of unjustice. Worse than Kazam, yes. :P

Reason Why Is It The Worst Game: Although some people may have liked this game, it was one of the most annoying games I've ever played. You know how a game has puzzles, though leaves subtle enough hints so that you would not need to go on the internet/use a cheat code to bypass? This game has its share of puzzles, though the information left for you is so CRYPTIC that you're forced to use extra help at certain spots. I've never beaten the game -- but from what I've seen, the final boss Dracula is barely a challenge in difficulty as well, which makes one not even want to consider playing if you know you'll be lost only to fight a mediocre boss.

Maybe not the worst game I've ever played, but by far the worst game I've heard good things about. I've played, and almost unanimously loved, all of Bioware's stuff, but this was just a steaming pile. Good reviews/word of mouth, but just an aweful, mediocre to the core game. Sigh. I'm just glad Mass Effect was as glorious as it is after this stumble.

I picked it up at a flea market and gave it a try. One of the worst things ever. A more recent game that I played and hated was the Iron Man game and the Incredible Hulk game. Both terrible games all around.
On a sidenote, I actually liked Friday the 13th and still play it regularly.

OMG, I had this game as a kid! And yes I never beat it because I could never beat that damn water part where you had to diffuse the bombs or something :bomb:. I dunno, I really liked everything in that game up to that point, but then again I found ways of liking all my games when I was younger :).

It sure looked pretty, and I liked Star Fox and Loved Zelda games, so I figured I couldn't go wrong with this one.

Yeah right! Fuck Prince Tricky, Fuck that fucking part where you have to hit the button about a zillion times in less than 30 seconds to progress the insipid plot, and fuck Rare and their crappy item collecting based crap ass gameplay a thousand times over. It was an import PS1 game a friend of mine brought back from his trip to Japan for a $1. It was a racing game with some of the worst steering controls imagined and no collision detection that allowed you to fly through anything. I just read on Wikipedia that it got a 0.0 review when it came out, and I can wholeheartedly say I agree.

Cheetahmen II - NES

The first Cheetahmen was meant to capitalize on the TMNT craze. It was made by one of those weird unauthorized Nintendo publishers. Obviously, it was a huge failure, but they started on part 2 anyway. They "finished" the game, printed about 1500 copies, but never released them to stores (ran out of money or something.) They sold the copies out of a warehouse some years later and ROMs made it on to the web.

The game is hardly playable, though it's "complete."

Being the keen kid I was in the early '90s I was still trying to find cheap things to play. I should have known from the shitty puns as to what I was getting myself into, but I was a stupid kid, I didn't know better. I can still remember the wretched title screen music and the terrible synthesized voiceovers of Bubsy saying something before a level. Like the first level, "What could possibly go wrong?" except it came out "Whht chhhud pshhbly ghh wrhhg".

It didn't help that the game itself was pretty wonky, and that Bubsy could be killed by anything and fucking everything. Water, falling, touching just about anything in the environment. It was a nightmare. If I could, I'd find the man responsible for it and shit in his heart.

This is the worst game I think I have ever played. I picked it out, to rent, from the local grocery store. I was so frustrated it was the first and only time my mom let me call a 1-900 video game number (I think it was in the manual!) to figure out how to get past the first two screens of the game. Now I am convinced that the only way the game made money was through the suckers who called the 900 number help line. The tech guy on the other end was nice and tried to describe how to get past the impossible jumps of the game but I couldn't figure it out. I lied to him that I figured it out because he was so nice that I didn't want him to feel like he did a bad job explaining it (obviously the game was garbage) and I played some other game for the rest of the night. I'm pretty sure at the end you fight the president.It's just so wild you have to play it sometime.

I actually get angry every time I think of it. The big "suprise" of the game is that after a while you get to BE one of the fish. This means a blocky figure of a carp is placed in front of the screen.... and you get to play like you normally do. But have it right in your face.

Well I've played some guys which I consider were bad, however the least time I ever put into a game (and actually played) was probably Pokemon Sapphire (and Ruby but only 3 minutes was invested in that). I played the game for approximately 2-3 on my GBA SP. The third generation was such a disappointment. This is why I would say Pokemon Sapphire (and Ruby) is the worst game I have played.

hmm, my worst game was this game for 3do called Twisted: The Game Show. It was just god-awful. It was a gameshow that u had to answer questions and play little minigames in order to make ur way to the top...zzzzzzz...oh sorry, I just fell asleep. The worst part was that it took forever for the fooking game to end and my goddamned brother freaking loved the game.

Madden NFL 06 for Xbox 360. I decided to give it a try because some of my friends play it. I made a terrible decision. If I do not like NFL at all, why in the hell would I enjoy an NFL video game? The controls and rules were complicated. Maybe if I tried hard enough I would understand it but I didn't care about the game and sold it the next day.

One day while at Big Lots buying Apple Crisp mix I found Robocop for the Xbox. It was $2! Plus it was a collectors edition! How can a collectors edition not be worth $2? I played it for thirty minutes and felt so ripped off that the next time I went to Big Lots I brought the game with me. I found a price sticker that was $80, peeled it off, and put it on the Robocop box.

I kind of feel bad about that now. It's unlikely but possible that someone actually bought this because they thought a "collectors edition" would be worth $80.

Bomberman Act Zero was a horrble game. I bought it as a gag white elephant gift, and the person refused to accept the gift so they put it into my car at the end of the night. I played it when i got home and it was the worst POS i have every played. Never play levels 1-99 without continues or lives without being drunk first.

My brother and I spent nearly $60 USD after tax back in the day (pooled our Christmas Money at an Electronics Boutique) and man was this game awful. It had horrible play control, weird gravity that never seemed to work and nearly endless missions that were really, really difficult to finish. I should go back and play it and see if it still sucks as much as I remember. But man oh man did I hate this game back in the day =P
