Just wanted to hear some opinions from any of you who purchased or played it. do you feel its worth 15 bucks especially if you only liked the last ratchet and clank game and didnt love it? what in it makes it worthwhile?

Why not just use the official thread?

It's... okay. I personally feel that R&C is getting a bit long in the tooth, so I didn't LOVE it. It's a serviceable title. Kind of wish I hadn't spent $15 on it, though. I've certainly gotten more value from cheaper PSN games.

didnt think to search for one. gave it a quick look through and i guess thats a no on it being worth the price. funny though people thought FTOD would hit gh prices around the time this came out or a bit later.

Yeah, unless you are a huge Ratchet & Clank fan that wants something new while waiting for the new game this fall or you can gameshare, you might as well wait and see if it goes on sale for $10 or so.

how often do psn games drop in price. since ive been online on my ps3 sometime os last year the prices havent seemed to drop on much of anything not even the add ons for games. been tempted to get that castlevannia game that was on the ps1 but if its alot like the ds games i dunno.

They're aren't many permanent price drops, but sales do happen every few months and Ratchet's one of the games from before the fall that hasn't gone on sale yet. Two $15 games dropped permanently to $10 in December (SARPBC and Jeopardy), so it could happen if sales aren't to their liking.
Symphony of the Night or Castlevania Chronicles? The former inspired all of the GBA/DS Castlevanias and is considered the best and I'm not sure about the latter.

Is SOTN on PSN? For some reason I thought it was only on Xbox Live.
If it is on PSN, then I'm definitely going to pick it up, because the DS1 and DS3 are virtually identical except for the triggers.

Yeah, it came out around the same time as the XBLA version.

I liked QfB, but it was only my 2nd game in the series (after FToD). I got FToD for 15 dollars at Target, and wasn't terribly impressed, but I still felt like playing it when I was done so I bought QfB. I liked it a lot, I thought the platforming elements were a lot better than FToDs, but it was pretty short, and I noticed a few game ending glitches.
I'd recommend it if you just want a quick, 4 hour adventure.
They new elements (pick up items for light, protection and projectiles), and the use of the wrent to move platforms and stuff was cool.
