I have an old fat PSP and upon coming back from Christmas I find the memory stick will not go into the slot and my wi-fi switch is gone (And Wi-Fi is in the off position). I'm guessing that some guests that were here while I was gone helped themselves to my PSP and fucked it up. Should I try to open her and fix her (I'm long out of warrenty), or sell the thing and move on. I've got to say I love haveing a portable system and I loved the PSP, but it's now been about a month since I played it and I'm not missing it that much. Thoughts?

I'd say try to fix it. Parts are fairly cheap these days and with the amount of good games coming out this year, i think you would regret selling it.

I wouldn't think you would get alot for a phat PSP. Just try to fix it.

Wrong, you can get a hell of a lot for a Phat. Prices for a Phat on Amazon and eBay are between $95-$299 depending on the condition. They are the easiest to hack and home brewers love the Phat PSP. I say keep it cause as others have said prices for parts are dirt cheap. You can buy just about any parts for a Phatty.
My Phat still is in mint condition.

Wow...did not know that a phat psp would be worth so much, still have mine from launch, lol.
If it's out of warranty and you have time on your hands, i would also say try to fix it.

It's not worth much if you take it to Gamestop but it's worth much more on auction sites.
Check out some of the prices on Amazon just for the Cores: 8-)
