Ok,

Shelly Finkel has been Tysons manager for many many years.

Shelly Finkel: "But the guys who wouldn't talk you before called me today on you."

Mike Tyson: "Say what?"

Shelly Finkel: "Electronic Arts who in the past wouldn't do a video game with you are now calling me for you."

Mike Tyson: "You know what Shelly? You shouldn't handle that because you're a boxing man, you should hand that to somebody who handles that business."

Shelly Finkel: "I've done that for twenty years when I was in the music business."
.................................................. .................................................. .......

Long story short I am a Mike Tyson Fan. If you check out the boxing scene at all you have probably come across Boxingtalk or if you follow Mike Tyson you might have come across Tysontalk.com

Well after his recent loss there are lots of "excuses of a bad knee" etc. Yes he did look like he hurt it during the fight.

Anyway on to the fun stuff as always people are fighting over Tysons money and Shelly Finkel did an interview with Tyson and Ted Watley (which Finkel and Watley are now suing each other over).

This is a part of the interview taht Shelly explained he was working to help Mike Financially. And he said the above info!!!

I think a "Mike Tysons Punch Out 2" or Mike Tyson doing commentary would be a good choice as he is very knowledgeable on boxing and boxing history.

whats your ideas? Good bad?

Maybe it'll be a game where as the main character you rape/abuse women while blowing your vast fortune on anything except educating yourself.

I'd say bad idea.

However, a re-release of the original Punch-out would rock. 007 373 5963

This would be a mistake for EA.

The Punchout nes still holds strong playability to me, still to this day.

And if the game had commentary....i would at least rent it just to hear what he has to say...because thats ludicrous...just ludicrous

Doesn't nintendo still own the rights to 'Punch-Out!!'? I would imagine they wouldn't be to eager to gives those rights to EA. Come to think of it, the original arcade Punch-Out!! was designed to use 2 screens...

yea someone mentioned the DS two screens with Punchout in the latest EGM I believe.

I would like to see Tyson in Fight Night 05, but not as a headliner for any game. Now, if they released Punch-Out on a handheld system, that would be GREAT. Why not....they just rereleased all those other old-ass games for Gameboy (Zelda, Mario, Excitebike...etc)

Punchout is by far my favorite NES game and I can't understand why Nintendo has ignored it since the SNES...what gives...

Oh thats right why am I here? Cause gaming is for kids anyways.....

Stereotypical response.... I expected it though.

This would be a mistake for EA.

Reason?

He is the absolute biggest ticket in heavyweight boxing. No one brings in more pay per views. Even with his most recent showings he is the biggest name in boxing.

So blame mike for Code Masters work?

They had a potentially good game but the speed was just to arcade like. I mean a few hundred punches a round was minimum with that game.

EA wouldnt do it that bad.

The world doesn't need another Mike Tyson BOXING game. However...

A new Def Jam game featuring Mike as a playable character WOULD be a good idea.

Bit of trivia for you all: A few years back, in Knockout Kings 2003, I think it was, there was a trick you could do to bite someone's ear. Blood would come pouring, and you'd be disqualified. Knockout Kings, of course, was EA's predecessor to Fight Night.

Tyson right now is the biggest joke in boxing. I do feel bad for the man, considering the heights he reached and where he is now. If his trainer didn't die on him, or if he had any competent/not corrupt handlers, a lot of this stuff would never have happened.

Tyson isn't the huge draw he was even 2-3 years ago, and its a testament to the complete lack of talent in heavyweight boxing that he's even a draw at all. Unless he finds some competent people, and completely rededicates himself to the sport of boxing, and not just to cash in to pay debts, he's done. Don't forget how old he is.

Nevermind that boxing is almost at the same level as fake wrestling in terms of legitimacy. Most corrupt sport outside of the olympics.
