Since the TRU thread is growing so large, I thought this one would best make it through as a new thread.
Picked it up, along with Tao Feng, Shenmue 2, Legend of Dragoon (wow--just $7.50) and Virtua Tennis (GBA - $5).
The TMNT is a recent addition -- it does look like TRU is adding games as they go -- looking at their stock and trying to clear games that they just have too many of.
Speaking of which, my TRU had KOF 2000/2001 for PS2; anyone know if this is any good? They also had MDK2 -- not sure I'm into that kind of game, but it does sound good.

Buy it, it's great. One of the few games out there with a genuine sense of humor. I loved every minute of it.

Hard as hell though. I've played it and I hear it makes Ninja Gaiden look like a cake walk.

I'm definetly getting it at this price. I have been waiting to get it for under $5 and this seems like the perfect time to get it.

Hmmm ... I wonder if this is YMMV ... it was part of the green tag sale at my TRU.
As for whether this game is any good -- it plays like Turtles in Time, though it's a tad short, IMO. The levels are not nearly as long -- I was through the game in about 2-3 hours.

I'm probably going to TRU now, I hope I can get it for $5

YMMV on this deal. GBA TMNT has not been added to the green tag sale, but perhaps it was mismarked at this store.

even for $10 i think tmnt for gba is worth it. the game is alot of fun. it is similar to turtles in time except that its just side to side movement, not up and down. if ur looking to find all the crystals it will take longer 2-3 hours to beat. and if u play it on hard it will take longer to beat but its still beatable in about 6-8 hours.

My TRU had it for $9.99. I guess this guy's local store is the only place that sells it for $4.99

Very weird --- I thought these deals were universal. Anyways, I went to the one in Highland Park in IL. That one has it for $4.99.
For the others, I'd keep an eye on it -- I would imagine it'll be added soon...

Yes, I've been hoping to pick this game up since reading that it was clearanced by Target. Even if I only get it for $10, it's still worth it IMO.

Since this is sort of the shorter version of the TRU %50 off thread, is Metal Slug 3 on it yet.

TMNT GBA rang up $10 for me also. I think it's just a lucky mis-mark at OP's store. I've seen that happen on some. I got Intellivision Live for $10 because it was mis-marked. It's NOT on sale.

hiccupleftovers, no metal slug hasn't been added to the list. The last additions were last week and they only added 2 crappy games(GC Universal Studios and GC 4x4).
