LittleBigPlanet - CAG Create Trophy Crew [Mobile/Archive]

Having difficulty getting your levels noticed?
Having difficulty creating levels people want to play?
Having difficulty amassing those last few hearts?
Are you just a trophy whore?

If any of the above are true then why not join the CAG Create Trophy Crew and get one of the trickiest of LBP trophies with minimal fuss.

Here's how it works:

Post a reply with your PSN ID (not your CAG name!!!) and Level Name
Every day at 5pm GMT I will update the first post with the current list of the CAG Create Trophy Crew.
Once you are on the main list it is your responsibility to go through the entire list and heart the PSN ID and Level from each person, and attempt to complete the level named. If you have the time do leave comments as well, we may be gaming the system here but in the interest of sharing it would be appreciated.
Once you have got your Create Trophy you must then post in the thread again and you will then be removed from the list to give others a chance.

I will be checking people following the rules at random and if you don't comply you shall be removed from the main list.

Obviously whilst this list is short you'll have to come back and ensure you heart any additions each day but as people start to get the trophy we should see it move quite quickly.

If you don't have a level up you must publish a level with just a scoreboard, so we can get hearting levels for you. Otherwise it's a pain the arse finding you on LBP. It only takes about 5 minutes and would be most appreciated. Put "CAGCTC-" at the start of the level name so it's easy to find. Anyone posting without having a level published won't be added to the list!

I'm with Cartman58. My levels hav a few hundred plays and combined over 50 hearts, but no one is hearting creators. Hell, I'm ok with people not even playing my level. Just heart me as creator and I'm fine. Here are my details though.

I still need to create a level to get a trophy, but I've been pretty busy and haven't gotten around to it. It's my goal to do one day. After I play RB2 more, I may go back to LBP doing this (before I move to Dead Space and BioShock).

I had a level, almost had enough hearts on it for the trophy and than I deleted the level on accident. I probably won't create it again since I'm not that artistic from what I have in my mind to actually putting it on paper or screen. It took a while to make too, so I can only imagine how long the good levels took to make.

been trolling this site for a while now - first post ;-)

Also, if anyone cares, make comments regarding my level. My girlfriend and I made it and have been very open about suggestions for improvement that don't completely rework the level. I'd be interested to hear any substantive things you have to say.

I'm only missing about 21 creator hearts and any help would be appreciated.

An idea to give this group a little more substance/teeth:

Don't allow people to just show up and put their name on the list. Require people to go heart the people on the list before them to be able to get their name on the list. We've got 9 people on the list and I've only had 1-2 people do the hearting so far. Just an idea.

I'm with cartman58. As of last night, I only had 1 additional heart, though I've gone down the list and hearted everyone.

The only person I didn't heart was cartman58, but that's becuase I had hearted him and his level back when he posted about it in the other thread. I did the same for Rolento and DarkNessBear.

I'll also try to get on tonight to heart the new folks on the list and run through DarkNessBear's level.

Alright, throw me in there (Odibee). I may add my 3 kids user names at some point too - and I'll go on their accounts and heart everyone too. So that's 4 that everyone will get from me - but only if they reciprocate ;).

I don't have a level made yet, but I'm working on it. Maybe this will push me to make some progress on it tonight.

Now that you mention that, I have a Japanese account on my PS3. I'll heart everyone and their levels with that account as well. :) I won't post that PSN ID since I don't ever play with that profile. I only use it to get to the Japanese store.

Managed to heart everyone up to slot 8. I couldn't find JGB1503 either, but he's the only one I'm missing. I hearted everyone with my JP account, too.

I also went through people's Hearted Creators and it doesn't look like that many folks have gone down the list yet.

Oh I've editted the first post. If you've not got a level up yet, put a basic level with a scoreboard so we've got something to heart. I don't want to just be putting people up with nothing and its a pain in the arse finding you otherwise.

So finsfan0210, JGB1503, and Odibee can you call upload a scoreboard only level asap?

If I don't see anything inside a week I'll have to start removing people from the list.

Oh, and io I'll be checking this thread a few times a day, I'm just in the UK so my timezones are slightly different to yours!

Instead of a List of people, you may want to consider coming up with a unique level name for people to create levels under (by unique, I mean something that, when searched for, will only return levels that have specified it). that way, instead of having to search for individual people's names and updating a list, anyone that wants in just creates the level, which we can then search for, and heart author's/levels that way.

If that makes sense, it should make the process a little easier.

Ah, so that's the problem. I couldn't find those first two either along with el_cheezer. Or Cartman058 either for that matter. There appeared to be a Cartman358 though. Had I known this before I just got done playing a few hours on the PS3 I would have made such a level. I did work on my real level but it's nowhere near complete. I'll make a scoreboard one later Thursday.

Oh, and io I'll be checking this thread a few times a day, I'm just in the UK so my timezones are slightly different to yours!

Actually you'd be surprised. I don't keep normal hours. In fact, it's 7am, off to bed. (I actually work quite frequently with a British guy living in France and we talk on the phone about software projects at my 2-4 am - works out well for him ;)).

I also sent my Japan account a Friend invite. When you accept, your main acccount shows up in your hearted creators. You can then heart your main account and follow the steps above to make it easy to heart everyone again.

Well, dammit, don't list your damn CAG name for the OP unless that is your PSN ID. What the hell use is that? :rofl: I just wrote down the names in the OP on a piece of paper and didn't have CAG names/PSN profile IDs to compare. OP, please sort those out if possible!

Now all I'll have to do is go to my Hearted Creators page and find you, then look at your Hearted Creators. Chances are all three of them will be in there, so I just heart all three of them and their levels without typing in a damned thing.

Then when I log in with my JP account, all I have to do is go into the Hearted Creators for my US account and heart all three of them from there. Though I don't think I'll be hearting anyone until this weekend :cry:.

One other thing: Everyone in your friends list automatically shows up in your Hearted Creators, but they aren't hearted. It just makes it easy to find their levels and what they like.

I used your list to heart everyone from ALL FOUR of my accounts - mine (Odibee) and my 3 kids' accounts (ElijahDante, SierraCat, LightningRingo). I will add them to the OP since they've contributed now ;).

I published a level I was messing around with with one of the kids a few weeks ago. It is called the very easy to type and search "cagio". It has already been played by someone and deemed "lousy" :lol:. It is simple and short, but slightly more interesting than a scoreboard-only one at least.

My kids would really appreciate plays/hearts on their levels as well.

ChibiJosh - my son was playing your "Death" level when I came downstairs.

I did state quite clearly in the initial post for people to use their PSN ID's and the main list shows this. Oh well, I'll highlight it in bright green or something to really ram that point home.

OK Main page updated. Does hearting from sub-accounts on your PS3 work? I've got 4 (YobRenoops, my US account, my Japanese account and my girlfriends account) so could generate 4 times the hearts if they counted.

Also you could, conceiveably, create 50 sub accounts on your PS3 and use that to heart your main account. That's if you were being really lazy of course!

I'll get on LBP tonight and heart/play the additions.

No, I didn't heart everyone's levels. I was going to play through some first. I had just enough time to get on and switch all the accounts and do the creator thing. Then CAG was crappy all evening and just now was the first time I've been able to get a page to load (been trying for 8 hours or so!). Hopefully this post posts!

My 6 year-old appreciates the hearts guys. When he turned it on to play yesterday he got the 10-hearted level trophy. He was pretty excited about that. Now my other son wants it, so keep 'em coming ;).

However, they are still both pretty low on the creator hearts. One only had 8, 4 of which are from us and 1 other I think he got online before. So that means only 3 CAGs, at most, have hearted him. I think the other two have even fewer.

As for levels, my daughter's one, in particular, I think is pretty neat - so please at least give that one a play through. I believe it is called "delicous!!" (spelled exactly that way - not sure though). It's not challenging or anything, but it is cute I think. She only has the one published, so give that a play. The boys tend to spam the new levels a bit too much, but what can you do? :lol:

el_cheezer - I still need to get you from one or two of the accounts. For whatever reason, you don't show up all the time on other people's lists even though I know you are there (like on ChibiJosh's). I saw you there one time with one of the kid's accounts, and then not for the others.

Celebrity - 5 player hearts
Feel the Love - 10 level hearts on a single level
Crowd Pleaser - 50 plays on a single level
Look what I made - 5 plays on a single level

I published a second (slightly easier) version of my "So much death" level. If people could give that a couple hearts (and play throughs and comments), that'd be great. I need like 3 player hearts and 8 or so level hearts until creator.

I tried to heart some levels, but whenever I searched for the levels they didn't come up. Am I this dumb, or am I missing some search method. I did find So Much Death which I hearted, but beyond that I failed numerous other searches.

Well, whenever you search for something, a lot of levels will come up, so you just have to look through all the 30 or so levels that show up. I searched for PSN user name whenever I search.

I hearted you as a creator when I found your level. I was hoping to use your hearted users to find the others, but that wasn't giving me anyone else on the list.

Can you search for PSN names in the normal text search, I tried it for someone and also had no luck. I also looked around all the levels that came up a few times without finding what I wanted.

Were you looking at the list of my hearted creators or were you looking at them on the planet? Because it only shows like 10 on the list. If you hit R1 when looking at my icon and all my levels you can go to hearted levels and then hearted creators. You should be able to find them all that way.

I just hearted the last 3 people up to FSUCure.

PRO TIP:

- Find someone who has gone down the list, like me (except for JGB1503).;)

- Select "Find more by this author."

- R1 over to my "Hearted Creators" page.

- Heart everyone on the list from there.

I know some people on the list are not holding up their ends because my kids only have anywhere from 6-8 creator hearts, and keep in mind they each had at least 3 to begin with because we all hearted each other ;).

ChibiJosh has done a nice job - he even went and hearted my son's duplicate levels, which I don't expect anyone to bother with (hearting 1 or 2 levels per kid would be fine). My daughter's level actually had a nice comment from a random (non-CAG I assume) person on there. It's nothing spectacular, but it is a real level that she put together and not just for trophies (which she doesn't really care about, but I figured I'd help her out with it anyway).

I went on last night with one of the boys accounts and hearted a bunch of stuff. I still need to do other people's levels with the other two kids' accounts (though I've done most of the creator hearts already).

The main post can also be updated to show me as needing creator hearts only. I'm good as far as level plays and level hearts go.

I also know that a few people haven't gone through the list yet. I can tell when I go through people's lists looking for creators instead of typing in the names.

And io, I played some of your kids' levels. They aren't life changing or anything, but my wife and I had a great time playing through them. I did that for everyone. I hearted them and every one of their levels. I haven't played everyones' levels though. I've only played a few.

EDIT: I'm pretty sure I only need two more player hearts, and I'm done. If those last two people who joined would heart me, that'd be it. I refuse to give them any hearts until they do.

I still need to go play through most levels. I hearted most of the creators on the list already so finding levels will be much easier. I may not get to it till the weekend though.

Maybe we should have a CAG LBP night where we get into groups and play through a bunch of cag levels which would be faster than everyone searching out stuff by themselves (the people who know what they're doing can lead the parties)

My machine at home crashed, which will make it hard for me to keep up with the hearts. I'm only 17 and 18 at the moment, but I'll try to get them hearted ASAP.

As a side note, I'm only missing 8 creator hearts for the trophy. I'll also try and stick around and help with the list until there's enough folks in here.

I wouldn't worry about #17 or 18. Neither of them have hearted me, at least, and I doubt they heart anyone else. Also, neither of them have been on CAG since they posted.

I only need 1 more creator heart for the trophy.

Appreciated! My older son apparently published a "rock and roll" level (not sure exactly how he spelled it but look under LightningRingo). It looked pretty good when he was making it but I haven't actually got to play it yet.

As I posted in the main LBP thread, I can no longer play the game, apparently, due to some massive (and known) bug. When I start up I get booted to the XMB before I even get to my pod. It seems it has something to do with a texture being in the pod that isn't in my profile. I assume this came from my kids slapping stickers and pictures and whatnot all over my pod last time we played and one (or more) must have been from a Community level I didn't play.

Apparently this may be fixed by mid-Feb in the next patch, but we'll see. It sucks because I really wanted to work on my real level. In any case, I'll go through the kids' accounts and do more hearting and playing and such with the updated list. I just can't do anything more from my own account for a while :cry:.

Bah, I'm so sick of this h4h crap. 80% of the comments on my levels are either, "Give me a heart, I hearted yours!" or "Play my level.bob.sagets.adventure!" (spammed 500 times). They shouldn't have made it a trophy.

Yea I wish they hadn't made it a trophy, but tell me this, did it or did it not do it's job as a trophy. Trophies are meant to keep you playing the title, and the "create" and "share" trophies did just that. They are annoying as hell(just got share), but they are keeping people playing this game.

I'm considering taking a stab at it, but I just don't know what song I should try :-kI did one verse and chorus of Still Alive. It's pretty easy to do once you figure out how to lay out the tiles. I would also recommend making one of each note that you'll need and then just copying the object over an over instead of making a new one each time.

It's been really busy at work lately and I'm still on a borrowed machine, but once I have time, I'll try to make my music level a little more interesting.

I had the exact same problem. Figured it was wireless. Hooked it up wired to my router and it has worked flawless ever since....lightning fast even.

If wired is an option for you, I highly recommend it (my friend had the same problem, and the same solution fixed it.)

Hmmm, that might be it since I use wireless, but my router is like 10 ft away from the PS3 :/

I tried going thru the list but had trouble finding a good number of the levels and gave up. Its tough when you enter a common word like "Christmas" whatever and countless levels pop up. I never thought about searching by name - but I just found out that worked (at least for DD it did). Maybe I will give that a shot...

I only have about 10 creator hearts to go - if you play my level real quick and give me some hearts and leave a comment like "CAG Heart" I will know to go over to yours and return the favor. I am gong to strt doing that myself - leaving a comment of "CAG Heart" so you know I was there.

I couldn't find cartman's Christmas level. Fuss, I hearted your level a couple of days ago but I'm not sure if I hearted you as an author, I'll have to check next time I load up LBP.

Weird that you guys had trouble with that one - I got that one of the very first times I played online. The one I don't have is the play with 4 friends one! That seems near impossible since very few people are ever playing at the same time.

I went through and creator/level hearted everyone on the list, played through the level (at least one try, a few I got stuck and didn't actually finish), and left a comment.
I added the names of levels for those that still had TBA and added a note to those that I couldn't find.
io, your level "fails to load" so you may want to republish or make something new.

They have tons of levels and I don't think the 50 hearts is a problem for them, but they most definitely need the creator hearts. I will republish my level next time I'm on. I haven't played in a while, but I'll go through and catch up with everyone else too. mguiddy - not sure if you are on my PSN friend's list, but if not could you send me a request - then I can use your hearted list to get to everyone else ;).

I don't think I can make you the OP, but I can paste your list into the OP. Or you could make a new thread and we could close this one.

You'll probably get to 50 hearts without even knowing it so don't worry about it.

I still gotta get that "play a level with 3 strangers" trophy too so if we can get 2 other people, I can help you out with that.

Go find those contra stages that just came out, I got placed into 3 4 player games in a row.

I noticed a few of your boy's levels are "Failed to load" so I added one to the list that was loading.

I'll send a request now, I think you can do that with the in game XMB... if not after I'm done with Killzone 2. I don't have many other creators/levels hearted that aren't on the list, so using me will be pretty easy.

I'll probably just make a new thread then... I'll probably do it later tonight.

Weird that you guys had trouble with that one - I got that one of the very first times I played online. The one I don't have is the play with 4 friends one! That seems near impossible since very few people are ever playing at the same time.

It's oddly difficult to find games online with more than one other person, I've never found a game online that had at least 2 other people in it.

Tried organizing a 4 person party to get the Socialite trophy in the PS3trophies.org site but that never worked out since that forum is just a clusterfuck of people whoring out for hearts.
Meh, I think I'll just skip the Socialite and Party Person trophies, continue my streak of having no Platinums :lol:

Well, I'm certainly up for trying the 4-person friend one wth you guys. I don't know how I'll get that otherwise.

So, get this: My level wouldn't load because it was "moderated" and I got a message saying I had to remove the problem before I could publish it. Of course there was no note or indication of what it was that had been "moderated", but I had a guess. I included Paper Mario and Paper Luigi cutouts I had gotten from another level. When I deleted those and republished it didn't complain. So, anyway, "cagio" ought to load now.

I'd appreciate anyone playing my daughter's "Delicous!!!" level as she is just a few plays away from 50 (there's a trophy for that, right?). Also, for my boys, try "the sushis" and "crab land" as those are some of their better ones and have more plays than the ones listed. My older son just made a few levels chock full of Beatles pictures he digitized out of a book he got for Christmas. I wonder if stuff like that will get "moderated" too? Anyway, just beware those have tons of stickers in them ;).

I think it's 50 hearts, not plays (50 level hearts and 30 personal heart)

The levels Dancer's Court, Frozen Tundra, Bunker, and Collector's Lair are the only ones that have 3-4 player items so it shouldn't be that time consuming to get them. I haven't even got to those levels yet, still on the Canyon levels.

I finally had 3 other people in a game and I was about to finish the level with the most points and I think to myself "alright, I'm guaranteed the Socialite and Top of the Class trophies" but 2 of the people straight up just left after they realized that they weren't going to be in first place. :roll:
