Two catches! 1) No rumble, and 2) has to be a wired cord. Personally, I'll deal with the two downsides if I could use my sweet, sweeet 360 controller:lol:

I just got my wired controller in the mail today from that Deals Extreme website that was posted in the deals section about 2-3 weeks ago. It was $29 USD but that included free shipping that was tracked and registered. I have a bunch of wireless and about 4 wired; which I prefer in some situations as they are much lighter. I'm tempted to try the PS3 hookup but I just finally found a 3rd party PS3 controller that feels a lot like an xbox controller.

Which controller would that be?? It might be cheaper to look at getting a dedicated PS3 controller that feels like a 360 controller than buying the 360 controller + adapter, which comes to like $60USD.

It lights up red which I don't really care about but you can turn that off. It feels a lot more like an xbox 360 controller, the triggers feel more solid. The positioning of the sticks still isn't as good as the 360 controller but overall it feels much more comfortable than the PS3 controller. Blockbuster actually opened it for me to try it before I agreed to buy it, which was nice of them. My only complaint about this controller is that you can't turn your PS3 on with it. It is wireless at least, which for my PS3 is important since it's across the room, otherwise I'd be tempted to try the converter.

Hmm thanks mkrowe, I'll pop by my local Blockbuster and see what I can find. I really don't want to spend $100 to use an XBox 360 controller on my PS3, but what else is a game fanatic to do? :P
