Looking for a good gaming headset for Xbox360

So i have a couple of those crappy headsets for 360 and now its time to upgrade. Have read about x1 and x3 headsets which both have mixed reviews. If you have any suggestions please let me know...

Astros are top tier but if you looking for something else maybe try turtle beaches models.....

The X3 from turtle beach isn't a bad way to go, and it's half the price of the X4.
