Well, I need a component switch. The best deal I've found so far is Monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10112&cs_id=1011201&p_id=3027&seq=1&format=1) one, which looks like it'll get the job done, but are there any better deals? Does anyone have experience with this?

Also, my D-Link router is starting to take a crap on me, so I need a new one. It must have at least 3 wired slots. I don't need wireless, but I guess it would be useful.

Definitly go for the monoprice switch. Probably best deal you'll get and of course they have great customer service. As for a router, you might as well go for a wireless one, it won't be too much more than a wired one and most of them like the Linksys Wrt54g has at least 4 wired ports.
