Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix Question

I'm a fanatic with Street Fighter, own them all (from the SNES Street Fighter, to Marvel Vs Capcom, Street Fighter Ex series and several others). I had been wondering, how do you unlock Akuma in the game? I've read that you have to highlight Ryu for a couple seconds followed by Guile, T. Hawk and Cammy, followed by Ryu again, but it does not work. Then I had read to play as Akuma (in training mode) you simply highlight Guile and hit up, yet an epic fail. Can someone please help? Much appreciated. :-)

You have to go through Arcade Mode without losing a single round, then beat him. He'll take the place of Bison.

Going through Arcade mode without losing only lets you fight Akuma instead of Bison.

Akuma is above E. Honda, just go to Honda and push up, and he'll appear on arcade mode. I think in another mode you go to Guile and push up, but for arcade, its Honda.
