I live in the middle of no where. BB is a 45 min trip south and a hour north. and you know how hard it is to get any deals at walmart or GS. I know that ebay is like gambling when dealing with bidding and individual strangers. so what do you think about shopping at ebay stores. if its a good thing can you start a list of good ebay stores you have delt with. thanks, I know gas is under 2 bucks a gal but when your putting it in to a 4x4 crew cab 2 or 3 bucks for shipping is a bargain.

Just make sure that you buy from a high feedback seller with a lot of positive feedback. I like to read a seller's feedback page and check their "Item as Described" rating when buying games, I think it's the most important. A lot of sellers I have delt with have mailed my games in paper envelops which is annoying. So to sum it up I would say the best eBay sellers to buy videogames from on eBay would be the sellers that specialize in it.

i have bought things from people with as low as 20 feedback, as a buyer, you really are not at that much risk, its the seller who takes on most the risk, but still try to deal with people with good feedback

just look at their seller feedback and read the auction description carefully
As others have said, check feedback and read the item descriptions. I don't see people with eBay Stores as any better to buy from than small time sellers though.

I think he means plain envelopes with no bubble wrap. Recently, it seems like more sellers have been doing this. It's kinda annoying. I actually had one seller just tape a couple of sheets of copy paper around my game and ship it like that.

let's face it you hear about crazy things happing all the time on ebay. all I am saying is your chances of getting a video game in a plain envelope or worse case wraped in 2 pages or printer paper and a lot of tape would be less with a honorable eBAY video game store. I have not used ebay that much, last time was in 04 buying parts for my new 4wheeler. looking at all the great deals on there I guess not only will I look for the best price but at there feedback to see if I want to give them my money. when I do start to buy things I will report back as to what the ebay store name is and how well the deal went down. thanks

As someone who has an eBay store with 4.8 DSRs (in everything but shipping time :(, It's hard to get more than a 4.7 when you're in college), just make sure you're buying from someone who, like me, has high DSRs (those are the stars on their feedback page). They are the most accurate representation of their ability as a seller, most feedback comments are copied and pasted while DSRs are not.
And remember to always leave feedback for sellers -- also, remember to contact sellers before leaving less than five stars in any DSR category. Four stars is seen as negative by eBay. My number one pet peeve with customers is that they'll leave me a four in a DSR category without contacting me first.
