Looks like there's a big group of games coming to PSN with this deal with Bejeweled 2 coming first followed by Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Peggle, and Feeding Frenzy.

The press release in the article seems to say that Bejeweled 2 may be coming today, or at least soon, and will have trophies and PSP remote play support among the other usual features for $9.99.

I love Peggle, it's extremely addicting... Hopefully it hits PSN sooner rather than later. ;)

Don't want these games on my PSN.

Just messing with you dallow. :)

Anyway, I'm glad to see Bejeweled 2, but since these games are Sony Online Entertainment, I expect them to be missing some features (normally they are).

It's supposed to be out before the summer.

Edit: Bejeweled 2's release today is confirmed (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2009/01/29/bejeweled-2-coming-to-psn/comment-page-1/#comment-172541).

Oh geez.. PopCap games on the PC are what my fiance does when I'm playing PS3.. I see a major conflict of interests here. :D

I am very happy about this. I will be getting Bejeweled 2 today - it even has PSP remote play! SWEET! And for the last few weeks I have been wanting Zuma on the PS3. I am very happy about this.

This is also a big step in the casual gaming department that has been lacking n the PSN since day 1.

Features Include:
- PlayStation®Network Trophies!
- PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) Remote Play
- Stunning 3D special effects and HD resolution (up 1080p).
- Explosive new pieces: power gems, hyper cubes and time bombs!
- Four ways to play: Classic, Action, Puzzle and Endless modes
- Explore a galaxy of handcrafted puzzles in Puzzle mode.
- Play for eternity and collect jewelry in relaxing Endless mode.
- Discover secret game modes!
- Hint-on-demand feature!

what features are missing, again?

I don't mind that's being added, but this stuff has been on live for quite a while. And for the price I can't really get excited.

what features are missing, again? It's Sony Online Entertainment here, every single game they publish will have some problems. GripShift never got the level editor and lacked voicechat online (the devs wanted to add it later but SoE wouldn't publish it). Jeopardy and all Midway games (published by SOE on PSN) have the problem where if one person disconnects everyone disconnects. Jeopardy lacked Alex and was a bit pricey early. Knowing them for Wheel of Fortune, one person disconnecting will cause the game to end, and it will have no Pat Sayjack and Vanna White.

That's why I do worry these games will either have some problem or something missing once people buy it (that's when people normally find the problems after they buy).

Bejeweled 2 just released and it has a demo! I played this game and I love it. Best thing is that it has trophies! I'm really debating on picking this up.

My girlfriend is a peggle addict. If I even mention it to her that its on PS3, I'll never hear the end of it. I already regret telling her they are porting it to DS, as my DS phat seemed to find a place in her home (in anticipation, nonetheless) after that conversation.

Pfft - I picked it up and played it for 4 hours last night. I had a blast with it, no problems I could see.

I honestly didn't want to get Bejeweled 2 just because I already own Puzzle Quest for PSN, but the remote play (PQ really needs this, but they probably passed on it since there's a PSP version) and the trophies sold me. I've already played it for quite a while, and it's definitely enjoyable, but depending on what you expect from the game there might not be enough content to justify the price tag (totally worth it just for the remote play for me, though).
