If ya'll would like to bid on my Disgaea that I'm selling (It's in PERFECT condition - no scratches or anything on the disc, everything is like new), it's going for really cheap (currently $20.50) and it's ending in around 6 hours and thirty minutes.

Until you put it face up on the floor for a picture.

Please explain to me how my game is not still in perfect condition (because I'm staring at it right now, and nothing has changed).

Oh GOD! IT TOUCHED HIS CARPET! What a fucking tragedy. I'm sure it still works fine and doesn't have a scratch on it.

JEESH.

It's not a big deal, but I wouldn't do that in the future, as it could turn off potential buyers.

It may be fine this time, but thers always a decent potential of it getting scuffed or scratched.

If that is indeed true, I'll heed that advice for next time and put it into a CD evelope or something. :/

I would bid, but putting a game disc on the floor is a big deal to me. I also do not like how the box is sitting upright like that. Collectors do care about this stuff.

True, next time, just take several pictures, one of the box closed and one with it open with the disc and manual inside the case. It only costs .25 to add another picture to your auction.

How would that be a "huge" deal? They were like that (and I'm guessing you are concerned with the bottom getting 'folded') for no more than 10 seconds. And I see the point about the CD on the floor... but a box standing upright? That seems a little extreme to me (then again, I'm not really a collector, so I don't know these things).

If you actually read my post, I said a "big" deal to "me". I would be a lot more willing to place a bid on something I knew would be in mint condition. Your view of mint condition may be different from what I feel is mint. The upright box can sometimes cause the insert to become stretched or wrinkled.

And if it makes you feel any better, the admin of this site has my IP Address (as he has all yours, too) and eBay has my Credit Card #. So..... yeah.

Well, the auction closed at $31, so any of you who wanted it for that price missed the opportunity. And I am pleased. :)

Thank you for whoever was interested, if any of you were.

i don't know how you get the disc out with opening the box. nothing's perfect big guy.

i also do not like the fact that the manual is exposed to the open air. this causes discoloration in the pages, and general deterioration of the paper. this kind of carelessness makes you suspect for something shady going on, buddy. next time use a bag and board, you neanderthal. and what's up with the different colors in your carpet? light blue? dark blue? the inconsistency would turn any real gamer off from bidding.

seriously though, it's not a big issue, and i don't think most people care, especially on these forums. a lot of people buy crap from ebgames/gamestop without even looking at photos of condition. the anal collectors really are in the minority, they just speak up more.

And your manual is on the floor. It might get carpet burns! lol
