Whats the best keyboard for PS3? Will any usb keyboard work on it, like if I used my computer keyboard?

I picked up the Logitech DiNovo Edge (bluetooth) and it's awesome. Pricey, and it has no numerical keypad (if you care), but for what I use it for it works like a charm. It's slim and small (maybe a half-inch deep at the most), so it'd be perfect for using in the living room and sliding under your coffee table when not in use.

Any bluetooth keyboard will work.
But they did/do have a "special" PS3 bluetooth keyboard, the Mediaboard Pro. That's what I have.

Wow that DiNovo is pricey! The Mediaboard Pro looks nice, but I see a $20 Logitech one as well. What do you guys find the keyboards useful for on PS3? I'm just wondering if I'd use it enough.

I use it when I use the web browser from time to time. Also good for filling out credit card info, or whatnot.

I pretty much use it for PSN codes and messaging.

Mostly messaging for me (actually trying out the wireless keypad, nifty so far, but have to get used to thumb typing). Question about the bluetooth keyboards, since they don't have playstation buttons, don't you have to go to your controller anyway to navigate some certain things? I know there's simple navigation with the mouse, but what about things like triangle related menus?

Enter button == x
Esc == o
F1 == Triangle
F2 == Square

Apparently hone does. :lol:

Damn it... I wish CAG UT3 were early Sat or anytime Sunday, I'd love to get that game but don't see me playing much unless it's with CAGs...

MGO, people use it a lot. I kinda wish I hooked up a keyboard to my PS3, but it's too much of a hassle for what little use I would get from it. Also if for some reason you're a Home addict it'll be useful.
