To funny. How will they account for this down time with the people who bought all these bids?

Well, that was quick. Back up again. Funny, I clicked their button here and message indicated they were experiencing down time.

They need to be closed down period.
Just reading and seeing on how that site works, it just seems like a big damn scam.
Only fools would play that gamble of a game.

its a trap.... its not a bad trap if you take in the previous selling points for the items, average it out to an estimate, add 20% to it, and then start bidding at that price point, as youd probably win within 50 to 60 bids. for an expensive item, adding 60$ to the price that is already probably going to be low, isnt that bad. Youd have to be sure you win though, or you just wasted your money.

Swoopo's a scam, you're bidding against all of Europe where the Euro is way more valuable then the dollar. If you look at the auctions and then click on the other country sites at the top right hand side of the screen you'll notice they are the same exact auctions with the same exact bidders on each of the sites but in some cases the auctions in Europe would have a game thrown in with the console(PS3 + Game in Europe= only PS3 in the states).
I have won one auction and I was able to get FarCry 2 in for $3.90 auction price + $4.90 shipping and I think I had bid about 3 times so I paid in the neighborhood of $12 for Farcry 2 which isn't bad. When it arrived it was shipped from Amazon.com. I have noticed that the auctions for the games have disappeared and they're auctioning off mostly lame Wii titles like Deal or No Deal. I've seen a few PS3's go for $20 to $50 but not many.
I don't think it would be so bad if we weren't competing against our friends across the pond but that's what it is.

I hate to See Cheapy send his CAGer's that way to get ripped off though. Everyone's got a price.
