This game had a lot of slowdown and framerate issues when it was first released. I don't know exactly why it had problems when the first WO game was fine. It gets a little better after installing.
Does anyone know if a recent patch fixes these issues?

i think that a patch came out recently after its release to address the slowdown.
Koei announced today that the company has released a Title Update for Warriors Orochi 2 for Xbox 360. As soon as the game shipped, the company found out that under certain conditions unusual slow-down may occur during battle scenes in Warriors Orochi 2 for Xbox 360. If you have this game, you will be able to download a Title Update through Xbox Live.

I can vouch for the patch. After it the game has little to no slowdown. Great game btw, a lot better than the first WO.

If you are a big 'Warriors' game fan, then I would say a big YES. If not then I would probably hold off until this game is $10.

so tempted to buy this. the big game rush starts next week so i know i wont have time to play it until April at least. i might get just have it for later.

i bought it for $30 as well. No regrets here. The game felt shorter than the first but there are more (cooler) characters in WO2

Deal is tempting , but I think I'm gonna hold off until more info is available about the port to the PS3 Warriors Orochi Z. (Mainly , if were actually getting it and if its better)

I am really tempted on the fence big time here but the achievements being damn near long as hell is pushing me over the to no side. That and the fact that too much too good coming out quickly starting next week. We will see though...

KOEI WARRIORS (http://www.koeiwarriors.co.uk/) is an awesome Warriors fansite that has a wealth of information on past and upcoming Koei games (and some others).
Musou Orochi Z: For those that don't know, it's the PS3 version that contains Warriors Orochi 1 and 2 in one game + extras. Slated for release in Japan on 3/12/09 but most likely be released in the US and Europe as Warrior Orochi Z.

I've had more fun on the 360 than the PS2. I think the controller translate fine. It's not that there's that significant a difference controller-wise.

I got a weapon where Lu Bu basically goes untouched in Chaos difficulty, I forget which :P
Good game for a fan of the Warriors or Orochi saga. Not for anybody else that hates DW.
Achivements were insane I gave up on those.

If you're a fan of the Warriors games, this one is well worth picking up for $20. I got it during Black Friday (but before it dropped to $15 :( ) and had a lot of fun with it.
