PS3: COD:MW or FC2 or COD:WaW?

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a shooter game for PS3 right now, and I'm trying to decide between COD:Modern Warfare, COD:World at War, and FarCry2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to figure out which one to get.

I've played all three of these so I'll give you a short run down of each one.

Call od Duty 4: MW- Without a doubt one of the best FPS ever made. Looks, great plays great. Suffers from a short single player mode, but the Multiplayer easily makes up for it.

Call od Duty: WaW- In it's self is a ok. Tryarch screwed some stuff up as far as enemy AI goes, but it was alright, The Multiplayer was ok, For me the whole WWII thing is just played out so I lost intrest in this game really quickly, but if you are a fan of WWII shooters look into this.

Far Cry 2- Dident have this game very long, not for it being bad I picked it up shortly before WaW was released, and when it was I was short on cash so I used this as a trade in. What I did play though It is a solid game, and looks amazing, the problem I hear most is though, is that it gets repetitive, and the story starts to drag about 1/2 way through the game. I never went online with this, so can't tell you about the multiplayer.

Hope this helps. My best recomendation would be Call of Duty:4, but choose whatever suites yuo best.

I hate shooters but I'll say that I think CoD IV is an excellent multi-player game.

It's depressing though, thinking about modern warfare while playing a game.

I own all three in the title, hands-down, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

I own all 3, and definitely call of duty 4. WAW is basically 4, with a WWII setting. Although, there is some perks to it over 4, they didn't quite make it "better". The campaign is a bit more longer and less linear, and also you can have 4 player co-op unlike 4, but I have to say, 4 was a way better ride all the way around. Nice thing about WAW is nazi zombies which is an addicting 4 player zombie horde and also your limbs fly off, unlike in 4. Start with 4, and maybe get WAW in the future.
FC2 is alright. Nothing epic, but it is a beautfiul game and a unique experience, but it's not nearly as fun as COD. It's a good rental, and if you somehow enjoy it enough to buy it, go for it.

All 3 games are around the 25-35 price, so...keep that in mind. ;)
