i ended up getting one. I remember hearing about Machinima since my old friend from Metal Gear Online deals with them for their videos that they make. I think there the ones that pay them too (I know some one does).

Anyways if you do get it once you confirm everything it takes you back to the Machinima.com site. Doesn't say anything on your Amazon account but you'll still get an email though.

Edit: NVM it'll show up in your Amazon Payment section not in order history.

thanks guysAmazon Payments is handling the payment process, not the ordering and fulfillment. That's handled through Machinima. Think of it as Paypal or Google Checkouts handling the payment, so they do get involved with the process of fixing issues with SNADs and the like.

I pre-ordered it from amazon.com with the Home outfit for $52, but wonder if I should switch over to this. I never heard of this company and don't want:

- crappy DVD made by some random dude and burned onto DVD+R (there is no information about the DVD and are they finishing the game in 90 minutes or is it just a short walkthrough? very vague...)
- non-US version of the game i.e. some import (the likes that GoGamer.com sells)
- significantly delayed shipping like the dd fiasco with SFIV CE PS3

It would cost me $2 more because of taxes.

Me too. I was going to get it a TRU since they have a $10 gift card with it, or so I read a few days ago, but if I can save $10 and avoid another trip to TRU then I'll take this.

That's what I was wondering too. I don't want to order it until I know it's shipping out within a couple of days. They may not have any in stock for all we know.

All I got was the Amazon payment confirmation, nothing from Machinima. I emailed them yesterday asking if my order went though and in like 5min I got a response saying "Yes". You can ask them though, but I'd probably wait till Saturday night since they might be getting theirs in today (release date) since there not like a retail store.

The tracking number I received for the game is FedEx SmartPost (annoying FedEx USPS hybrid). Hopefully it won't take 2-3 weeks to show up like the UPS/USPS shipments from Buy.com.
