Yep. Halo. 7-11. Pre-Order.
Now, i dont have any other info other than "Pre-order halo with a small amount of money down" mainly because the guy working there didnt speak english. When i head back there tommorow, illl check with the guy i do know, and see what exactly is going on.
I can remember all the ign articles from Japan talking about 7-11 exclusives and midnight releases....sounds cool to me!

Instead of fishing for all of these pre-orders, and all of the random phone calls...how about releasing the game early? It seems like they have too much time on their hands.
November can't come quick enough.

actually, the picture they had printed up had a few other logos, including 7-11 and mountain dew...so maybe theres going to be a big green push this Nov?

This was at the corner of commerce and...commerce? These roads are screwed around here. Its in the little plaze with a benitos pizza, subway, and that re-sale shop.
I wonder if it will be chainwide, or just being done by more crafty owners

I love 7-11, where else can you get a hot dog, a gallon of slushie, with 3 bucks at 3 am? If my local 7-11 would sell games I would be in nirvana

Only if they were cheap-ass games ;)
I remember about 5 years ago they were selling CDs/Videos/DVDs in the ones in the Mid Atlantic Region, so it wouldn't shock me at all/

They go the 7-11 route, how livid will game retailers be? Diluting the market for one of the only surefire moneymakers for retailes while letting them wither on the vine with the the other 80 percent or so that doesn't sell well. If I owned a game store, I'd be pissed.

"Hello, Mr. Nahasapeemapetilon, i would like a copy of Halo and Phantom Brave"
"Are you crazy, Mr. Sir? We have this halo you speak of, but i do not know of that other thing. Go somewhere else. Thank you, come again!"

Weird. Too bad I already have it pre-ordered. There's a 7-11 like 5 miles from my house.

There's about 5 within a mile of my house. I suppose they aren't as widespread as they are down here, seeing as how RF has never seen one.

People are throwing money at the game already and it doesn't look much better than Halo1, which you gotta admit was boring as hell.

I've seen my 7-11 selling some PS2 controllers sitting behind the counter. I didn't really understand why.

Well, actually hell might be really exciting, so it could be boring as hell. I loved the first and # 2 looks to be one of the best games this year.

This reminds me of a weird dream I had a few months ago. I walked into a 7-11 and they were selling Gamecube games - all the games were in one of the refridgerated cases.
