The deals won't stack by default. You might find a random GS employee smart enough to manipulate the system to get both deals and dumb enough to not know deal stacking policy but it seems very unlikely.

I wish I had more than 4 Wii games. Even if I decided I can live without Baroque and Ghost Squad, I certainly can't get rid of RE4 and Super Mario Galaxy.

Traded yesterday, and although I had 6 games I am positive I got ripped here somehow...

Here are my pre-adjusted values:

Cash trades to GS are pretty pointless. You get 20% off the base TIV, and promos cannot apply. If you want cash, you are most certainly better selling the games yourself.

If you have more then 2 copies of the same game I would say that it is VERY YMMV. They will have trouble accepting that you and your friend have 3-4 copies of the same game between you. You might have better luck if your friend is with you and the games are on different platforms, also getting a kind and competent GS emloyee would help. Still, it would be YMMV.

Chances are, they'll talk to you like you've just stolen them...start saying loudly "oh we can't take those because they may be stolen" etc. I've seen them do that plenty of times at stores all over. I think it's a script thing they learn to do to discourage flippers or something.

during the Hollywood video $4 last gen game sale, i bought about 6 copies of star wars battlefront for the ps2 and traded them all in at the same time and they never questioned it. the only place where they didnt accept more than 1 title of the same game was at blockbuster. so give it a try and see what happens. who knows you might get lucky.

So, I made off with $105 today, I'm pretty happy about that. Plus there was a new manager; dude was super-helpful which is a massive change of pace for Gamestop. The last time I traded, they didn't even open the cases and had to call me later because one of them was empty. #-o

Did anyone have to do the thumbprint thing? I thought that was weird. Last time I traded a game was in june (ninja gaiden 2) and they didn't do the thumbprint thing yet.
It's really annoying when you just trade in one game and you have to do it everytime you trade in games even if you have your info stored on the computer.

Yep, they will take them in with no issues. On their end, they just have to type the game into the system. A slight bit more work, but that's not our problem.

The manager told me that he could get fired for taking multiple copies of the same game. The funny thing is I was there last week, and asked where he was. The response I got from the very rude manager there was "he no longer works here, and that's all I can say."

I got a lot less value than I expected cause several of the values in the OP are pretty recent and I had two GHAs, but I got the GHs on 360, wanted to keep UT3 for that piddly value, but I'm not that into basically online only twitch shooters with my 1.5 DSL connection, and the GC games were Blockbuster disc only specials and I found a complete Gauntlet for xbox, DLed Alien Hominid for XBLA and figured that since I was getting a Wii on the trade in a Wii Mario Tennis would be in the future. Wish I had known about the Wii trade in promo as I coulda gotten an extra $6 total for the 2 guitars. Also, got a PS3 singstar (and two games to keep) to trade into blockbuster with the mics from singstar country which got $36 as a bundle there which I applied to WiiPlay. It's Wii time baby!

That's easy to explain, though. The 360 has Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, but the PS2 does not. As a result, the PS2 Lego Star Wars II has more value then the 360 equivalent, because no one wants the 360 version, while the PS2 version still has some demand for it -from those people who don't have a current gen console.

The way I read the promo that is toward the purchase of the PS3, which means at that moment. I guess you could technically buy 2 PS3s, then return one and get your money back.

The reason I was wondering is because I picked up one of the Singstar Country bundles from BB for $10, but I've already got mics.
