Got this from 1up. I know that CAG.com does some charity work such as Child's Play and sending games to the troops, but this is also another cause to help.

From the site:

Millions of people around the world suffer from debilitating, often fatal, diseases that individually afflict only a small percentage of the population, but in their totality are devastating to many victims and their families. These are known as 'orphan diseases.' (http://www.donategames.org/stories.html)

But there is hope. By buying (http://www.donategames.org/buy.html) or donating (http://www.donategames.org/donate.html) a game, you help fund much needed research to fight theses often overlooked diseases.

The buy option isn't available yet, but would be a good cause to get into.

This does look like a good cause. Once the buy section is up I'll definitely take a look at what they have.

Just a note to let you know we have the buy option operating. We have a growing inventory of new and used video games. A few nice accessories are available as well.

Please visit us and drop us a line to know how we are doing. :D donategames.org

Thank you,

Great site and great idea!

I just hope you guys don't get bombarded with old sports games or Wii shovelware.

I was just going through my XBox collection and discovered I accidentally bought Rainbow Six Lockdown twice and was wondering what I should do with the extra copy.

Slightly off topic, does anyone have any good places for donating DVDs?

I have a few I've upgraded to blu (or just never watch) that don't look like they're going to move on Goozex, and aren't worth enough to bother selling--I'd rather donate to a worthy cause vs hassling to make a buck or 2 tops after shipping.
