I just got through watching it, and I gotta say it's one of the funniest damn movies I've seen in a long ass time.

No, I haven't seen it...yet. I'm very excited for it. I need to catch a showing of Resident Evil 2 beforehand, though.

Is it even out yet? I heard you have to have seen all the 'dead movies to really respect the comedy in it. I want to see it though.

Fandango has it set to release on the 24th. But chances are I will go see it when it comes out. The trailer I saw in the theatres a while go was hilarious.

Yeah, you really have to see them and a few of the other good zombie flicks. I've always have had a morbid fascination with zombies, though. They haunt me in my dreams, but I still love watching them.

i mode a post about the film a few weeks ago. i saw it at an advance screening then, and it totally rules. just ignore the american trailor for it, because the trailor makes the movie look kind of stupid.

The R2 dvd is out and its great, it's got to be the largest amount of extras ever on any dvd yet. like 4 different commentaries and tons of extras.

If you check out www.shaunsquad.com they list a ton of cities that are showing a sneak preview tomorrow night. Otherwise it opens on the 24th.

Edgar Wright will be at 2 of the showings in LA. for a Q n A. I highly reccomend trying to see those if you live in LA cause hes really entertaining to listen to.

If you guys like the movie and have region free players, you'll need to buy the Spaced tv series, just as good if not better then the movie. Simon Pegg's humor is pretty much the same throughout everything he does.

I've been looking around the net a bit, but can't find any R1 Spaced dvds. Do you know if they're available, or do I have to get the R2 and find a region free player?

There are no R1 dvd versions of spaced.
When I got to talk to Simon Pegg at the last screening I asked him about R1 dvds and he said they were having a tough time clearing them because of all the different music.
So Spaced will be shown on Trio( I dont even get that, but apparently its being shown all next week) but the R1 dvds wont be out for quite some time.
Theres also the giant chance that Trio will cut them up since Bravo cut them up when they showed them. The shows are perfection in their uncut state and anything chopped from them would be sacrilegious.
Your safest to just get the R2 dvds. -but if you do go ahead and get the R2 , wait for the special editions coming out, they add another disc full of extras and a few more cut scenes from both series. It's the one with the star wars cover on the front at amazon.co.uk Comes out on the 27th. Or if you cant wait, eveyone is dumping thier old versions( still have lots of extras on them) on ebay for cheap in expectation of getting the special editions so you might be able to score a set cheap.

Saw a screening this afternoon after driving 1 and 1/2 hours to Olathe, totally worth it, great damn movie. Anyone who enjoys comedy should go see this, it's great from beginning to end, love all the little homages to past zombie films.

To the quoted statement above all I can say is, why, Shaun is infinitely better than that PoS RE2.
