Anyone think this is a decent game? Last one I played was on the PS2 and it blew chunks.

sorry but I found it a neat idea andreminds me of something that should have been in an arcade and not on a console.. But like i said I liked it...

This game was developed by a different team than the original Stuntman and the designers were smart enough not to kill enjoyability with an over-emphasis of trial and error. Stuntman Ignition is what the original Stuntman should've been. The scenes are brilliantly designed, the difficulty is appropriate, the production values are high, and the appreciation and recognition for this game is too low.

I highly recommend this game. But at the same time, in the future, don't wait for someone else to tell you to try something. If something naturally appeals to you, give it a shot.

$10 at Walmart YMMV

Picked it up at Prattville, AL Walmart here, but a couple in Montgomery had it too.

Worth scoping out if you go there anyway as part of a routine. Plus no shipping.

Thanks Cheapy! I loved the demo a couple years back but never found myself willing to make a purchase. Seems like a great game to chip away over the course of a few months little by little.

Just thought I'd chime in that I thought this game was kinda cool. Not great, and occasionally a little frustrating, but pretty fun. I was just trying to run through it, so any time that I had to do things over may have been especially irritating to me. But ~$10 sounds about right to me for this game.

I enjoyed the game. I thought it required a little too much trial and error, but it's well worth $11.

I found the game to be quite fun. I picked it up for ~7.50 from a Target clearance a while back. There is a lot of restarts and if you're a perfectionist it may get frustrating. However, I'm generally the type that if a game is frustrating I'll just move on, but with this game, I found the reward of getting a scene "right" sufficient for the challenge given.

The "Odd Jobs" section was a little more troubling though. In the main story, you get five strikes before you fail. The odd jobs give you only one. Fortunately, they are much shorter. The only one that is *hard* IMO is one where you're sliding on ice. The controls are very loose on that one so it was frustrating. But that was the only one.

My favorite was a scene where you're driving a fake Fed Ex type truck during a volcano eruption for a commercial. The premise is that even during lava flow they still deliver on time. They paste all your stunts into a commercial "trailer". It looked real good.

For those that can't get it at Amazon now, I picked it up yesterday at Kmart for $9.99.
