I don't know if this has been posted yet, but anyone interested in grabbing the Watchmen graphic novel should head over to amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/Watchmen-Alan-Moore/dp/0930289234/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1236015752&sr=8-1). I just ordered a copy for $10.99 (paperback). It looks like the 45% off applies to other versions (hardcover etc.) as well.

good looking out OP, but this is standard Amazon pricing. pick up batman year one and dark knight returns if you haven't, they're awesome and also around $10...i'm tempted to buy watchmen, though i've read a friend's copy already. i'll probably get after movie to get some deeper understanding the second time through. i wish v for vendetta wasn't so expensive (hardcover)...

I've been watching this for a while and it's been $14.99 for some time now. I don't recall seeing it at $10 before, but it's Amazon so I'm sure it's been fluctuating.

Do the paperback and hard cover editions have the same content? (i.e., recolored pages, concept art, whatever else).

I picked this up on Amazon just after Thanksgiving for $7.99, so yeah, it's been cheap.

Yet the OP also states that the hard cover is on sale too...

If you had read the OP you might have seen reference to his belief that although he links to the paperback, the HC is also 45% off (incidentally, it looks like he's wrong, the discount on the HC versions appears to be 34% or 31%).
On a lighter note, I own the Absolute Watchmen HC edition and would definitely recommend it if you've got the money to spare (Lists for $75, $51 on Amazon at the moment). The newest HC edition (list price $39.99, $26 on Amazon right now, with new cover with the Watchmen characters) apparently has the recolored pages from the Absolute Ed., but based on descriptions I've read is in a normal graphic novel size rather than the larger Absolute format, and doesn't have all of the extras (though it does have "selected sketches"). So plenty of options there.

Frank Millers Batman: The Dark Knight Returns just dropped down to $8.99 at Amazon. It had been $10.19 just the other day. Last week I almost bought it, but I ended up getting Watchmen only.
