I've only ordered there once (Devil May Cry 4 for 360) and the game wasn't in great shape but the box and manual were perfect as you would expect.

Fortunately jumped on this deal in time and got a shipping confirmation this morning.

I have yet to get a game from Gamefly that didn't look perfect. I have no doubts that this one will look near perfect too. Of course, I purchased the PS3 version so my chances are doubled at it being in good condition since those disks are so durable.

Plus with how rare it's getting I can definitely sell the busted one in a few years for profit.

Couldn't you have switched the booklet from one case to the other? That's what I've always done.

Can you? I'd imagine they wouldn't have liked that much. Though it was $4.19 and sells for much more on eBay so I'm not gonna put much thought into it. Some day when I feel like cleaning all the duplicates out of my collection I'll get rid of the beat one.

Does Gamefly put these deals on the frontpage? Like if I got up at 4am to check could I go to the site and see if anythings on sale from the front page? Or would I have to go game by game to see if anything is. Never bought from them before.

Not sure this game is even worth 15 bucks for a beat up rental copy. Game was really lacking in many areas and very short.

when this deal was live, If you went to the buy preplayed games section on GF, it did have it listed at the top of the page. So I would imagine it wouldn't be any different for other games.. the problem with just checking at 4am though is if the sale goes live earlier as this one did, i checked at like 3 am when i saw this thread then went back at 3:15 and the sale had started. so I'd probably just stick to checking here first so you can get the jump.

On the one hand it's the people who pay full retail for games that they REALLY want badly that keep the companies in business and help them make more good games. On the other hand, me being a CAG and waiting for the magic $19.99 or less number would put these companies out of business... :roll: so how much is too little? <-does that question make sense?

Not really. I've gotten some really roughed up discs from them. But I will say this. I've gotten around 35 games or so from them, either through rentals or buying. Every, single one of them worked flawlessly, no matter what the condition.

I'm not terribly happy with Gamefly. I ordered at 3 AM on Tuesday. They e-mailed me soon after asking if I meant to order two copies, and I replied right away. Didn't hear. Replied again the next day. Didn't hear and still no shipping confirmation. Wrote to ask if there was a problem with the order the next day. Didn't hear back. So finally this morning I called and the lady says "Oh yes, I see you replied about the two copy confirmation, so we can get your order processed today."

3 days isn't awful, BUT, they never replied, other people have received theirs already and mine still hasn't shipped, and I find it odd that obviously they'd gotten my reply about wanting the two copies but didn't do anything about it. On top of that, I also ordered Lego Batman, and they haven't shipped that either.

Essentially you get to play the game for free. I wish I waited for this GF deal since I've already beat the game in one week and have only 2 achievements left.

Got my copy. Case and manual look brand new but the DVD (360 version) has some scratches but it's ok. It should be playable. =]

Disc has those minor surface scratches on it, nothing major though so I'm happy.

All in all very good purchase.
The game rocks too.
Only on the third level but I'm really enjoying it, aside from the horrible camera and frustrating force lock on mechanics.
