As far as I remember there isn't any free downloadable content at the moment. I purchased the Jedi Temple scenario, new mission for :360:/:ps3:, and everything else I remember in the store was just a skin.

Aren't they identical gameplay wise? I guess 360 would have achievements, and I'm pretty sure TFU on PS3 doesn't have trophies. I think that graphically the 360 version ran a little more smoothly...but that's my vague memory on reading reviews when it came out.

I got the 360 version during Christmas during one of the sales. If your into achievements at all you'll get some time out of this game, and I found it to be decent.

I don't think it matters much. If I had a choice I would go with the PS3 version if only because Blu Ray discs' scratch protection works very well. Of the four games I've ordered from GF, they have all been in excellent to like-new condition.

I really liked the PSP version. Got kind of a bum rap by the critics. Same story but a slightly different path to get there. I beat that version then rented the 360 version and it seemed like two different games. I got stuck on the junk planet level on the 360 right before I had to return it. This type of game play has always been hard for me since I am a FPS guy.

Trying to decide if I should really even invest the $15 on it. I want to but worry that I will just get stuck again. I don't mind replaying levels 3-4 times but when it goes beyond that I get frustrated FAST.

I had the 360 version when it first came out...ended up beating it and getting rid of it after a few weeks. It was really fun and Star Wars fans will love it, I actually think I'll rebuy at this price, I kinda want to play it again, but some boss fights were kinda ghey.

edit : on another note, the base TIV at GS is $15 for 360 version, so essentially it could work as a free game rental or trial, if you dont like it, or if you beat it quick you can just trade it to GS and get your money back in credit...or more, %10 EDGE plus %40 percent for tiered deal...you'd end up with 22.50, so you'd make a profit if you wanted to just play thru the game quick and trade it.

I'd say it's definatly worth a try in my opinion, i liked it.

I can't speak for the PS3 version, but I had no noticeable issues of any kind on the 360. Played smoothly (and I played it a lot for about 5 days, with some 3hr+ sessions).

The game was built on the PS3, if you have the option, I'd suggest the PS3 version, despite reports. If yours happens to be iffy, just swap it at Gamestop.

Absolutely positive, just checked my previous receipts. And they do NOT have to charge tax as long as the don't have a physical location within the state. One of the reasons I hate having an Amazon.com office in town. As a new subscriber I haven't looked at where my games are shipped from, but now I understand why it takes so long. The closest distribution center is in Missouri and I'm just north of Seattle, WA. Nice to read on the Wikipedia page that they plan on opening a DC in Seattle in 2009.

as a star wars fan i really enjoyed this one. i picked it up when it launched .. retail but with a $20 GC for TrU.

Played it through a few times, about 20-25hrs worth and then traded it on Goozex, which ended up getting me Fable 2 :)

Definitely worth picking up for 15. it's like God of (Star) Wars, just with lower production values(not that the production is bad, but what has better than GoW?)

oh, and the story is actually quite good.

I've purchased 6-7 used games from Gamefly and I just want to say that the box and instructions are usually flawless because I don't think those are sent to renters. The disc itself is about 50/50. One game I received had a chip on the side (lol) and a couple have light scratches, but the others are perfect. Regardless, I have never had a problem playing them.

You do have a point though, this game is going for about $20 on Ebay regularly so it's not a "super" hot deal, but a deal nonetheless.
