I'm thinking of getting the Twinbee Portable collection. Is it pretty import-friendly overall? I'm assuming the gameplay itself won't be a problem for a non-Japanese-speaker, but will I need a guide for the menus or anything?
Also, does it make sense to wait a couple weeks and see if Play-Asia does another Easter sale like the one last year, or was that just a one-time deal?

I've been jonesing for the Salamander import myself. I *cough* tried them out and found them to be very import-friendly. Most SHMUP's are anyways.
As far as figuring out the menus, it should just take you a couple of tries before you konw what they all do. Nothing too fancy.

I have the game. It's actually very easy to figure out. Some import games I could not figure out. I believe some of the game is in English, if I remember correctly. If you want me to convince you more, I could put the game in to see (been a long time), but I just know I had no issues.

Yeah, I'll probably pick up the Salamander collection too. Looks pretty cool.
Thanks for the info guys, I will import without fear. :) (As soon as I can find one of those Play-Asia coupon codes!)
It's pretty self-explanatory, IMO.

The Salamander Collection works fine. It's been a while since I've played it but I never had any trouble adjusting options, starting the game, etc. Xexex!

Depending on how long you plan on waiting to order, I've got an order from Playasia that shipped a few days ago and I won't be using the $5 coupon.

What an asshole.
When I still had my PSP I bought the Salamander collection. Get it because it's awesome.

That would be great, I'd really appreciate that. PM me. :)

It's very import friendly. You'll have everything figured out in less than five minutes.
I think the screen-changing options and most of the menus are in English. You will not need a guide at all.
