My Halo 3 special edition 360 Headset just Broke, HELP

Yeah so back in June I purchased the Halo 3 special edition 360, its been working great until now when the headset port(the thing that plugs into the controller) just snaps off. I'm not sure how to fix it but I still want to use my green headset. Is there anyway how? :( please help

Like is there a way I could buy a regular one and somehow mod the original onto this one? :(

I think there is a website selling these green controllers. Unless they sold out.

my controller is fine. I just need my headset fixed. Like the little pin snapped off and I want find out how to fix that.

I got a white one in mine. At least I think I did. I swiped a black one from a broken elite going back to ms. I did buy the matchin green wireless headset used from a Gamestop last year, but not really digging it.
