Everything's got a Collector's editon nowadays. We should just accept it and think of it as routine.

I was very upset with the Warcraft 3 collectors edition because it was $80 and then like 6 months later it was cleared down to $30. What a waste. I never cared about any of the other crap in it.

I think I had read 12.95, but this was a while ago(I think I read it on gamepro.com)

Six months doesn't sound like a short time to me. By then, the people who really cared about such a compilation already bought them. No sense in hanging onto stock that's not selling. I feel your financial pain but I can't say I am surprised.

The exclusive in-game pet is what really does it for me. I wanted a pet during the stress beta but could never quite figure out how to get one.

I believe only the hunter classes can have pets. (warlocks have minions.)

I wonder if the exclusive pet applies to all classes

Am I the only one who is going to steer clear of any and all MMORPGs, especially World of Warcraft? I mean, sure, the game is probably going to be great, but then you're hooked paying whatever it is a month and investing too much time. It's too dangerous for me :)

Limiting this option to only one class negates the usefulness of this perk. Why would blizzard include this exclusive content if it can only be used with one class? I think everyone will be able to use a pet.

You say that like it is a bad thing. :D I thoroughly enjoyed the stress test beta. I was never a big fan of MMORPGs but this game certainly changed my outlook. Yes, I will be a world of warcrack addict.

In every major city there is a little shop or travelling salesman guy that sells a specific pet. In Thunder Bluff you could get a prairie dog, his shop is on the ledge facing away from the rest of the shops. have to walk around the back side along the cliff of one of the rises.
In Ogrimmar its a guy that sells different colored snakes. He walks along the upper road by the inn.
On alliance side its a house near the giant castle place(cant remember the name, i hardly played smelly alliance)with a crazy cat lady that sells cats.

Those are the only ones i know the locations too, but anyone can buy them they do nothing and just follow you around. They cost 50 silver so its not something that you can buy when you are new.
Some of the pet ideas they had as potential bonus pets sounded really cool, I hope they went with the pandaren.
